Portland Value Inn and /suites

Posted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: Quiet. Safe because aside of 24 hours surveillance camera, there is a security guard walking in the roof top at midnight (Joke).
Cons: Needs renovation in interior. Telephone is not working. Refrigerator is not working.
Location: Place is accessible to nearby restaurant and convenience store.
Hotel staff are nice and easy to deal with. The hotel is good only for short stay and also if you are not looking for a place to relax and fancy amenities like fitness center, sauna and swimming fools.

close to the I-5 but please clean the bed sheets!

Posted Jan 1, 2014
Pros: the location and the room size
Cons: basic cleanliness. it is essential.
Location: the hotel is close to the I5. it's very practical to drive to and from the freeway.
We wanted a cheap hotel, close to the freeway for just one night ... and we found it. we were given a gigantic room, with clean bathroom and floor but.. when we uncovered the bed(s) we found only but old hairs, lipstick signs and dust all around the bed tables. We acknowledged that the price was not that much (around 50 bucks) but even cheaper hostels and motels are definitely cleaner, which is a requirement for any decent place. we were not expecting any luxury (the room and location were great), but cleanliness is basic.

For the money it is alright

I honestly only got the room to spend a few hours there with my girl so I wasn't expecting to much from it. It seems to be more of a place for people to stay for a long period of time.

Odors permeate the hotel room.

Posted Oct 2, 2013
Pros: Location and price
Cons: room smell, bed comfort, and lighting
Location: close to downtown (about 8 miles away)
I didn't care if the drapes, carpet, and bed spread didn't match. The odors are what bothered me. They were trying to cover up cigarette smoke, I think. The lighting was dim and because the weather was grey, it made the space difficult to see in. The bed linens were smelly and the mattress pad was so thin I could feel the bedsprings and I weigh 120 lbs.

The shower doesn't work. The carpet is stained. The sink has debris stuck in the drainage holes.

Worst Inn ever.

Posted Sep 16, 2013
Pros: None
Cons: Remodel everything.
This was the worst experience I have ever had. Room was spells like a puke, bathroom had sewer and died cat smell. Bed was very un comfortable that me and my wife got backache for few days. People who were staying in this place were very loud until 5 in the morning.

Pretty nice . A lot of extras in the room. More like a suite. Older but clean. Nice front desk person.

Cheap but clean, very friendly staff

Posted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: Cheap, clean, a/c worked great
Cons: Bed was hard
This is the perfect place for anyone who just needs a crash pad while going out to explore, or if you just need to pull over for rest on a long trip. It's safe and clean, and the staff are very friendly.
