Smelt like smoke, terrible service.

Posted Mar 25, 2015
Needed to find a quick hotel. Easy to find. Staff was terrible. We were waiting a half an hour before someone helped us. We asked for a non smoking room, the whole hotel smelt like smoke. However the room was very clean and comfortable. Wifi was good and they had hot water. You get what you pay for basically.

Dirty Hotel

Posted Mar 16, 2015
This hotel was incredibly dirty. The lobby is undergoing renovations and there was dust everywhere. I understand some of that is hard to avoid, but the room was also in rough shape. I could tell the fridge hadn't been cleaned in awhile, there were crumbs and garbage in the dresser, and the tub was filthy. There were hairs in my bed and I felt very uncomfortable. Additionally, multiple signs in the lobby had spelling errors, which further proves that attention to detail is not a high priority here. As someone who values cleanliness, this is a place I cannot recommend. It was without a doubt the dirtiest room I have ever stayed in.

Motel in general

Posted Mar 8, 2015
Pros: Leaving
Cons: Just about everything. Needs painting inside, TV always has a snowy picture. Get rid of the add on bldg.
Location: Lots to do!
We were put into put into what was an add on to the motel. while it was a "no smoking" motel, the smokers stepped out of their rooms and smoked in front of the doors. Cigarette butts were everywhere and the smell of the smoke. We were there three nights and the room was only cleaned and beds made one time. Staff acted like they didn't know what was going on. Saw customers arguing with clerk at the front desk. This place used to be a very nice place to stay, but is now very run down. Wouldn't recommend it.

Older motel

Posted Feb 22, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Just about everything
The staff really didn't know much and should be sent back to country they came from. I have stayed at much nicer Super 8's.

Enjoyed the pool

Posted Feb 12, 2015
Pros: As I said before....the pool.
Cons: Everything from the staff to the locks on doors and the appearance of the place. It needs cleaned up!
Location: Right across from BYU. No where close by to eat except fast foods, but not a far drive to nice restaurants, stores, etc.
We booked online a couple months before our trip and had confirmation. When we arrived at the motel they could not find our booking, at first. Then they found another person with the same last name and tried to convince us that we were that person. Lucky I had my printed info from the booking I made! They did finally give us a room. The building is advertised as a secure place but the outside door at our end of the building did not lock at all and people could come and go as they pleased. It was noisy! We had a man trying to get in our room to different times. But the swimming pool was so much fun! I am happy they had that...it made the stay not seem so bad! When we checked out I ask for a statement. I wanted it to make sure there were no room charges...they would not give it to me, but said they would email it to me. I have never received that email. So I continue to watch our bank account. I do not plan on ever staying at this motel again!

Good location

Posted Feb 5, 2015
Pros: Location. Low cost. Free wifi and breakfast.
Cons: It's an older building but cleanliness is fine.
Location: Near BYU campus. Close to main streets for access to anywhere with driving.
Right across from BYU stadium. Old yearbooks in lobby are interesting. Never had a problem with online registrations.

It was your average cheap hotel room. If you are looking for something else you need to bite the bullet and open your wallet.
