Pros: the best thing in this hotel is the staff and the band music are very friendly and talented
Cons: as the place in an island near by the forest you should meet many kinds of animals and insects
Location: the location is good but every time you need a shuttle to go and back langkawi
it is a good option for couples and people who look for relaxation

Holiday HeavenPosted Aug 9, 2014
Pros: The remoteness, the location, the food, the happy hour drinks on the beach - everything actually
Cons: On site shop could stock a few more items like snorkels etc and perhaps vary the evening entertainment
Location: Completely remote - tennis, table tennis, beach volley ball
A fabulous retreat where we were treated like VIP guests - the staff even arranged surprise balloons, flowers and cake for my daughter's birthday. The friendliest hotel I have ever stayed in - would definitely recommend

Relax and EnjoyablePosted Jul 31, 2014
Pros: Love the fact that it is isolated from the main land Langkwi, which I feel more quiet, relax, and private.
Cons: The communication between the staff in hotel and the staff at port Langkawi.
It's very enjoyable and relax. The staff is very polite, friendly and helpful. Excellent service. The sea water is cleaner than the main land Langkawi. Boat ride to Langkawi is just 15 minutes, and the staff is very punctual, just need to follow the timetable and be on time.

Total relaxationPosted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: ability to relax, crab hunting on the beach, pool, pool bar, board games, complimentary beach toys for kids
Cons: Air conditioner on at all times in the gym
Location: Off the main island of Langkawi, visit local towns, hire a car and drive around island
Rebak Island is a place to totally relax and recharge the batteries. There are sport facilities (tennis, volleyball, squash, canoes, bikes, gym), a pool and lovely private beach. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The resort never felt overly crowded which gave you plenty of room to move and have space to yourself. Breakfast was excellent and the staff always helpful and courteous. Meals at the restaurant were of a good standard and while priced higher than other local eateries it was cheaper than you would pay in western cultures. They staff were family friendly.

Very nice hotel and has a beachPosted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: I liked the environment the jungle like environment provided the serenity and romantic atmosphere. The food was excellent. The bar by the pool side
Cons: The place by the beach for the romantic dinners should be made affordable so that clients especially those on honey moon can utilise it.
Location: The location is good just about 15minutes on the boat cruise.
we had extra ordinary fun.. and the environment was conducive for soul to soul connection. Perfect place for honeymoon. The general hospitality of the hotel was five star and very professional staff. Special appreciation goes to the following staff who made our stay memorable: 1. Mr. Loo... the chief security officer made us feel secure even when the waves on the sea were uncomfortable especially the first day... your sense of humour is second to none 2. Mr. Alamgir.. Housekeeping.. the way he decorated our room especially the last night was fabulous and unbelievably gorgeous 3. Andreas and Emia managed the bar with distinction and excellence. We enjoyed the happy hours guys!!!

Quite a disappointmentPosted Jun 17, 2014
The last boat from Rebak Island to the mainland is at 6pm. If you want to go out at night you're going to have to pay RM160. Which means that my activities were restricted, and I had to call it a night by 7pm (from the mainland to Rebak island). The bars (Lepak and Minum Minum) is dead too. Very dull and boring. Probably because most of the people here are senior citizens and honeymooners. I don't know. But it was a very dull stay thanks to the hotel. The beach was a disappointment. Don't trust the pictures of Rebak island you see online. There's actually 2 beaches you can go to, but the other 1 you can't swim there because it is covered with garbage so they don't encourage you to go there. Which means there's only 1 beach at the hotel (right in front of the hotel) and it's 45% covered with corals. Just imagine how ugly it looked when it was low tide. The hotel is old, but it is in an OK condition.

beautiful placePosted Jun 15, 2014
lovely place. only problem would be the ferry timing that was a real problem as the ferry timings are to far apart and no ferry after 745pm so unable to leave island. plus food no variety everyday the same breakfast buffet.

Nice place to relax for a couple of days.Posted Jun 9, 2014
Rooms are quite vintage, quiet and clean. In June the sea water is very warm and not transparent at all. So you might only want use the swimming pool. Good breakfast is served.
