Shocking HotelPosted Dec 5, 2013
After check in we were given our key! We went upto the room to find an un made bed with wet towels on it! After complaining the manager made us sit and wait in the hall way while they cleaned another room for us! After 10 minutes we got into the room! The smell of B.O was so bad in the room i was close to checking under the bed to see if someone one hiding! The room was tidy but dirty, had stains on the carpet and bed sheets! We sat on the bed and it was solid mattress! We put bags in cupboard and went out! It's is a very dodgey area, and had people hanging on the corners of the street, one house looked like a drug den! We turned round walked back to the hotel, picked up our bags and left! Would not recommend to anyone!

Perfect place to sleep in LondonPosted Jul 3, 2013
Pros: I liked the location and cleanliness.
Cons: I wish there were hangers or drawers. I lived out of my suitcase.
Location: The tube was fifteen minutes away. Lots of local and affordable stores.
The stay was good. The staff was extremely helpful. It was close enough to the Tube I could go into the city. I felt safe, too.

pretty much what I expectedPosted Jun 5, 2013
Pros: wifi works without any problems
For the money you pay it's an ok place to stay... The rooms are quite compact but up to acceptable standard.

Good for young couples and business travelersPosted Jun 1, 2013
Pros: The price was my favorite thing, with how nice the staff was as a close second. :)
Cons: The breakfast was kind of boring as it was the same thing every time. The wifi was not always reliable, mostly around peak times.
Location: Ilford is a middleclass mixed neighborhood. 30 min train trip to London. I recommend staying closer or on the West end if you can but it was decent.
The hotel is pretty much no-frills but it's decent. It appears to be one of several houses turned into hotels in the area which appears common in the neighborhoods outside London. It's run by some Middle Eastern folks in a mixed neighborhood. Very safe area and close to the trains to London. I booked this hotel as part of a package for myself but wanted my English friend to stay with me. They were very accommodating and did not charge me extra for having him in the room with me the entire week. Everyone was extremely nice. If you're American you might not be used to it but it's not a big deal. They are very happy to have your business and will treat you well. There are many Middle Eastern cuisine and American style restaurants here. There's an awesome bakery that sells their leftover cake pieces for 50p after 3pm(?) - so yummy and cheap! The Polish Shop is nice. There's some nice restaurants here. It is about 30 mins from London on the trains and about 15 mins to the nearest mall so if you land in LHR and come here, be sure to buy an unlimited Underground pass that will be good for the trains. I paid £70 (about $120 American as of May 2013) but it was a good deal to be able to travel any time anywhere. Even if you stayed closer you'd still want to get this pass because London is very big, so don't let the trip time deter you too badly.

Room was small, with only a small window that was more of a skylight. There was a lot of noise at night. Staff were ok though. Did have good wifi and off street parking.
