Very nice staff!Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: Staff. Complimentary breakfast.
Cons: Hallways need vacuumed daily and a fresh coat of paint. Also, walking to your car, you pass the dumpsters and the smell is overwhelming.
Location: Dewey Beach a stone's throw away. Drove to Rehoboth shops and boardwalk.
We drove in from PA and had been on the road since 7 AM and the staff offered to let us park there and said they would call us when our room was ready since check in is at 4 PM and we got there early. They did call us as promised. The hotel itself is OK, clean where it counts...sheets, bathroom, etc.. but the hallways were sandy and it didn't give a clean feeling. I would stay there again!

Comfortable and clean hotelPosted Jun 21, 2015
Pros: Staff, room, value and conveniently located.
Cons: There should be a table in the room.
Location: Plenty of restaurants, bars. Also some shopping. Beach is a few steps away.
This hotel is very close to the beach. Room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The parking lot had a door at each level which was convenient for luggage. There was a breakfast room on the fourth floor that offered a continental breakfast each morning. Not extravagant, but enough for breakfast. There was also a good sized refrigerator in the room with a spacious freezer for snacks and drinks. Also a microwave.

close to beaches and shoppingPosted Jun 20, 2015
Pros: location, hotel staff
Cons: pest control
Location: Lots of shopping and beaches
did not like the fact I was given a handicap accessible room and I'm not handicap. No tub, beds were on the floor. shower and toilet was for the handicap. I would of rather been told this and allow me to make the decision on whether or not I still wanted the room.

Steps to the beachPosted Jun 17, 2015
Pros: Close to beach
My husband and I stopped for just one night in order to catch the Lewes Ferry the next morning. Did not expect much but we're surprised that for the price we were steps from the beach! Lots of restaurants within walking distance and parking was covered and easy. Breakfast was so so, but not a bad deal for the money!

Thank you for the great stayPosted Jun 16, 2015
My stay at the Best Western Golden Leaf not only met but exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious, clean, stocked with towels and other restroom amenities, the bed was really comfortable, etc. As for the location, it cannot be beat! The walk to the beach is no more than 5 minutes, and there are plenty of restaurants and shopping options within along the Coastal Highway strip, so you don't even need to move you car from the parking garage once you get settled in. The staff was polite and efficient. We will stay here again when we return to Dewey Beach!

Close to beach and local restaurantsPosted Jun 15, 2015
The hotel was conveniently located withing walking distance to Dewey Beach, in addition to, great local restaurants. The Rusty Rudder was located across the street and the food was great. Nalu also had great food. The bed was comfortable. The hotel was clean overall. The room smelled like a musty storage closet but thats the only complaint that I have in regards to the room. My biggest complaint is the customer service. The front desk was helpful but some of them lacked enthusiasm. A smile goes a long way.

Convenient but extremely noisy and somewhat dampPosted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: Not much - close to beach.
Cons: Air quality, soundproofing, wifi (very slow), bedding.
Location: Near lots of loud bars.
We were given a smoking room, something we REALLY didn't want; the hotel staff said Expedia had asked for it. The room was connected to the garage, outside the main hotel area. The hotel was full of hard-drinking and very noisy young people, and the walls are thin, so we got very little sleep. The room was damp and smelled moldy as well as smoky. Would never stay there again, and would not recommend it for anything other than convenience.

Just what we needed!Posted Jun 5, 2015
We wanted to enjoy some of the nightlife and this hotel was right in the middle of the action. We were able to go out until the music stopped playing at the Bottle and Cork and the Rusty Rudder and easily (and safely) walk to our room. The hotel is aging but it's still clean and well kept. The bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was better then I anticipated. Overall, the hotel and its amenities were perfect for a 3 day weekend club get away.
