Ipad Returned

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: There was a HUGE amount of young soccer players. The check in person put me in a room far away from the noise.
I left my Ipad in the room. I was devastated. I called the next AM and the hotel staff was awesome. The Manager of House Keeping called me to tell me they were searching through the linens! They found it!!! I thought they handled the situation great and kept me updated!

Off the highway, but very quiet

Posted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: Location, ten minutes from downtown, very large, updated rooms
Location: Try Ben Gui for Japanese; awesome sake collection and they do custom sushi!!!
Easy check-in, was accommodated for a quiet room and the receptionist changed me to another when the first was next to the ice maker. Lovely grounds, very large rooms, in ground pool, large exercise room.

Overrated hotel

Posted Sep 23, 2014
Decorations were beautiful. However, tub and sinks obviously old. Sick was filthy as it took an hour or so to drain. All we did was brush our teeth. Breakfast had stale food.

Facilities need to be renovated

Posted Sep 11, 2014
The overall hotel computer system and hotel facility need to be upgraded. It took a while for the computer to locate a room for our reservation. We then found the cover of the shower tub drain is missing in the bathroom and the water was clogging while taking the shower. We called for service and the front desk sent us the facility crew right away. The slow drain was fixed within 10 minutes but the crew left many dirty water marks by the tub and we had to clean them out ourselves. The bathroom door cannot fully open because it is hitting the edge of the toilet bowl. We basically have to slide in and out when using the bathroom. The air conditioner is loud when it is running. The hotel staff and shuttle drivers are helpful and friendly. The hotel restaurant, Shula' Grill 347, has nice entrees and the waitress is attentive. Hopefully Sheraton can renovate this hotel so people can enjoy the nights of staying there.

Nice hotel that takes pets. Convenient to town.

Posted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: Room was clean, large and hotel was relatively quiet.
Cons: Breakfast was expensive, service was slow, and food was not that good.
Location: Don't have any comment. Just needed a place to stay for the night and breakfast to get us going in the a.m.
Enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was a little pricey and not that good for what we paid. But hotel was nice and comfortable.

Nice room

Posted Jul 24, 2014
Hotel was nice. Had a very nice exercise room, small indoor pool, and slightly larger out door pool. We did not eat at restaurant so I have no comment about that other than it looked nice. Room was nice size, we had 2 queen beds. Everything was in good shape except the carpet in the room. I will tell you it didn't feel dirty because everything else looked so nice, but it seriously needed replaced. It probably had 12 different spots on it. Again didn't make us feel like it wasn't clean just looked bad. Can't say all rooms were like that either. There was a nice hardwood in room entry way. Bathroom was well done and updated. Room was comfortable and well decorated. Also we didn't hear lots of noise. We had a fridge, iron and ironing board in a closet. I would recommend this hotel. Hotel staff seemed friendly and helpful. It is also close to airport, downtown, several restaurants and mall. 1 min to interstate.

Nice hotel, but................

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Hotel and staff were terrific, but the hotel is a magnet for huge numbers of teenage sports teams in town for various tournaments. Lots of late night (2am) running in the halls, loud laughter, and very poor oversight by accompanying adults. Not much sleep (but a $36 continental breakfast for two tab slapped us awake).

Loved it!

The staff was excited to be there, very helpful. The room was exquisitely beautiful and well stocked. I have been to more than one Sheraton, even this week, and I am hooked!
