Nice place with beautiful viewPosted Jan 29, 2015
This place is great if you want a do nothing vacation. The "restaurants" we're aweful! included breakfast was vegetarian- bacon was extra. The dinner place on the beach was a joke, all fried stuff I can get at home. We left most days and ate elsewhere as there we some good restaurants 10-15 min away. The hotel is beautiful, the pool amazing, but there is nothing to do, no activities.

Good hotel! Beware of breakfast!Posted Dec 26, 2014
Pros: The staff was very friendly and we were able to sleep do snorkeling very easily.
Cons: I would give the guests the option to have a remote control to the air conditioner and also extra bed sheets.
Location: The location was really far away from downtown there where in many activities to do and so you are required to either rent a car (around $50) or take
The hotel itself was an incredible hotel, it was private and you could swim in a private beach area, the rooms were spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The one problem that we encounter was food. The presentation of the food wasn't very likable. There where lots of bees everywhere (breakfast).

Excellent BUT...Posted Dec 9, 2014
Very nice in many ways. But no WiFi in rooms, which they blamed on rain, even though the lights on the wireless router in our room led us to believe otherwise. There's only one restaurant, with a limited menu, but the dishes were well cooked. A little distant from everything on island, so best to rent a car.

Nice hotel, no so nice staffPosted Oct 16, 2014
The hotel facilities are really good, the private beach is full of mosquitos. Staff are kind but when it comes to solve a problem it could take a long time.

A decent place to begin exploring RoatanPosted Aug 5, 2014 on Hotels.com
My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Parrot Tree Plantation from July 25th-July 31, 2014. Overall, the resort is ok. Fun lagoon area and the pool is nice. Not a whole lot of things to do at the resort itself. We were glad we rented a car. Room was generally nice. The decor was attractive and it was great have a kitchenette, because there is only one restaurant and, being a vegetarian, there were no real options for me. The kitchenette is stocked, but we didn't get dish-washing soap until the 4th day of our stay. There was a lot of dust on the cabinets in the room and the Jacuzzi bathtub never worked. I never felt fully comfortable sleeping on the bed: our sheets had stains on them and the comforter was scratchy. The ceiling fans in the room were not in great working order: we called the reception desk and someone did come out to take a look, but they never really fixed it. The AC worked fine, although it was noisy. The breakfast buffet was good, but the wait staff was particularly rude - we gave up asking for condiments and coffee about 2 days in. The bar/restaurant staff is moderately better, but be prepared to wait 10-15 minutes for anything you order. Overall, we would not stay here again because of how far it is from most other things on the island, lack of things to do at the resort itself and how poor the service was.

Service was dismal.Posted Jul 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
The service was dismal. Staff was inattentive, rude, and unprofessional. This place was full of hidden fees. I do not recommend it.

Beautiful groundsPosted Jul 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
Grounds are very well maintained and quality of room, most comfy beds are a plus. Marisol of century 21 is a star showing us around this property and others for sale on the island. She is a powerhouse and absolutely genuine.
