Arrive, sleep, shower and to the airport

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: Clean, new, close to airport.
Cons: Well, it is a sprawling building and the walk to my room was long. Also, no food available after 11 pm.
Location: Near the airport, nothing nearby except the airport.
I arrived by taxi from the Amtrak station at 12 pm. The cab far was twenty-five dollars. They gave me a room in the hotel complex that was a little walk indoors, but not terrible. The room was a better than usual Holiday Inn hotel room, TV, soft bed, clean sheets, new furniture, etc. The wake up call was on time. There is a free shuttle every 15 minutes to the airport. You could also walk the distance (less than 500 yards maybe?) pretty easily, although it is all highway with no sidewalks. This is a stop over hotel. It is there to house people arriving late and leaving early at the airport. I didn't see anything around it that looked very interesting.

Close to airport

Posted Apr 12, 2014
Pros: Clean, friendly staff, comfortable bed, airport shuttle, park and fly.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Since we were only looking to stay close to the airport we did not check any other activities.
We were looking for a place to stay over night as our flight was leaving at 6:50 the next morning. This hotel fit our needs perfectly. It was reasonably priced and had free shuttle to the airport. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. We also were happy with the park and fly option offered. For $15 we have the convenience of leaving our vehicle at the hotel. This is much cheaper than airport parking. The place we left our car was well lit and in a safe location. If we fly out of Rochester again, we would definitely stay at this hotel.

When flights cancelled..guess ok if need a place

Posted Apr 7, 2014
Flight was cancelled. Stayed only one night and glad that's all I needed. Bathroom not clean. Didn't want to be Barefoot on the floor. Got me or of the cold but if needed more than one night would have found another place to stay.

Nice Hotel

Posted Feb 19, 2014
Pros: Close to the Air Port
Cons: Rate was too high. I paid $140 and my friend booked two days before her flight and got the same room for $108. What's with that?!
Location: Shuttle to Airport was quick and easy.
Saw a comedy show in the bar. It was very funny. It was fun.

Disappointing

Posted Jan 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
Front desk personnel Jay was fantastic but room was freezing (no heat at all) and overnight staff less accommodating. I was shocked to discover that the complimentary breakfast was over at 9:00 am. Not within walking distance to any restaurant, must rely on their courtesy van. S
