The front desk checkin needs to give the building letter along with room number. The restaurant staff was excellent and the food was great.

Stayed at hotel for a lacrosse tournament

Posted Jul 1, 2015
Pros: Room was comfortable.
Cons: Finish the renovation of the lobby.
Room was fine. Lobby was in the process of being renovated. Lobby roof was leaking during a rain storm. Drip, drip, drip into a big bucket. That wasn't a great impression.

Needs Cleaning

Posted Jun 30, 2015
We stayed 2 nights: one at beginning of trip and one at end. The room at the beginning was awful. Dead bugs in the hallway by the outside door. Carpet was filthy. We were only there one night so just left. I considered cancelling the final night, but had already paid. When we went back I told them about previous stay and askEd if there was a refurbished room. They gave us a room close to the front of the hotel. It was much nicer. But this is the third time in a Holiday Inn that was dirty--3 different locations. I won't stay at HI anymore.

Not great for price

Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: Location. Good TV. Selection of firm/soft bed pillows, although all too oversize for our preference.
Cons: Bring room amenities up to standards.
Basically this is a budget hotel with a pool, semi-fancy lobby, and higher price. Room had odd smell - seemed to be a strong chemical cleanser covering some mildew. Air conditioner was loud. Bathroom had no hair conditioner or wastebasket. Room had coffee and basic coffee maker but no tea or microwave. (Microwave is in laundry room or a $10 extra charge. Plastic tray holding coffee packets has empty sections intended for tea bags.) No included breakfast like a budget hotel but also no lounge like a quality hotel. Desk staff was friendly but not especially helpful. My wife had to go to the desk twice to get hair conditioner. When I asked about tea I was told "no problem" - I could buy some in the attached restaurant. So basically not a bad hotel, just no better than others that are cheaper. Only hotel near the airport, so I guess they don't need to be very competitive.

Yes it is nice & simple hotel , it is perfect for those Who have a business or short stay since it is very Close to the airport. Although others may prefer a hotel near to the down town ,but in any case the hotel is not far away from the down town it takes 10 minutes by car.

Location: It's near the airport.
Nothing exciting about this hotel. Water pressure in shower was weak.

Pros: Lady being the bar very pleasant and professional. Two out of the three front office staff I dealt with were very good.
Cons: Needs an upgrade.
Location: Good location for the airport.
Facilities a little tired. Relative rate charged not bad, but will pay a little more next time in hope of getting something a little better.

Just an Okay Stay

Posted May 31, 2015
We were here for UR's graduation and the hotel was packed. The workers were very busy and probably would have been more attentive with fewer quests. The main lobby area was being remodeled and you had to walk around the construction areas. The restaurant and bar workers were swamped and worked their feet-off! Our room was in the farthest back building so everything was nice and quiet. Our room was tired and needed updating and more pillows. It needed a good cleaning but was okay for our needs. The rooms closer to the main building probably received more attention. We've stayed here before and had a much better room and breakfast off a menu was available. The driveway and parking lot need some patching, too.

dirty no service high rate

Posted May 28, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: remodel, clean rooms give some service
Location: airport location is good near rit and son's apartment
The first thing we noticed was a dirty bathtub and bathroom, The place is old old old with carpet and 80's features. We were there 2 nights and noone cleaned the room or replenished anything. If you want a dirty place with no service book this one!!!
