Not as described

Posted Apr 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
We booked this b & b because it described as having a mini bar, refrigerator, designer toiletries, hair dryer, coffee maker pillow menu, bed duvet, in addition to NOT HAVING ANY OF THESE, there was no mirror in the room, also a very low bed, 1 chair and very noisy plumbing, eg a saniflow in the bathroom, which made a grinding noise whenever using the water, definitely not to be recommended., check in times were not as advised

Disappointing and basic

Posted Jan 9, 2013
Pros: None: we felt so strongly we moved out
Cons: See above
Location: Reasonably located for the station and city
It was almost impossible to find as it was a door bell entry and no other information visible on the street. Breakfast was miserable: half a cup of espresso each, no milk, a croissant and a synthetic wafer biscuit. The bed was very low on the ground so hard to get up from. It was sparsely furnished e.g.no lamps at all, and only one bedside table. The outlook was a grubby well between buildings. The room was one of a few within a residential building. There was a noisy saniflo plumbing system but otherwise the bathroom was adequate

Hello Bed & Breakfast Review

Posted May 8, 2011 on Hotels.com
The description given on the Hotels.com website did not match the reality of what we found when we booked in. Hello Bed & Breakfast is an independent small portion of a building occupied by a hotel . The front desk and 24hr security referred to are services of that hotel. Hello B&B shares the same entrance and elevator and there it ends. The owner of the B&B lives in the room which was next to ours. The room was very simple and did not have a fridge or minibar or trouser press or espresso coffee maker or phone. There was no in room safe and when we asked the owner about this and the other discrepancies we had trouble understanding each other due to language difficulties . The owner supplied us with a safe but it wasn't secured to anything! The wireless Internet was good but you need to supply your own cables for wired and TV Internet access. There was no housekeeping . There were no toiletries in the bathroom or bath towels or toilet paper . The toilet was not fixed to the floor either. Toiletries and toilet paper were supplied on request but no bath towels. The 'full breakfast' turned out to be a coffee or juice and a croissant served in a nearby cafe. The location of the B&B was perfect for us and if you knew beforehand what you were booking it would be probably be ok. Forewarned is forearmed.

Great Location, Good Price, Small room.

Posted Apr 28, 2011 on Hotels.com
If you are looking for a luxurious getaway in the Eternal City you should keep looking. However, if you are looking for an inexpensive, simple room than this would be a good pick. The location is safe. it is located in a building that is occupied by another hotel and some other offices. The guy that was in charge was very nice. The breakfast is small and simple. The rooms are small and simple. The location is great, very close to the main train station. I can't stress enough... this is a bare-bones experience. If was perfect for someone like me who is looking for something between a hostel and a fancy hotel.
