Small hotel not far from Via Veneto

Posted Nov 10, 2013
Pros: Internet worked in the room. Good location.
Cons: Brighten the rooms up. Better map of its location would be useful. Later check-out time perhaps. Describe room accurately please
Location: Near main train station, major metro point nearby, Via Veneto is a short walk away. Borghese park is very lovely
Advertised as having a deep tub but just a shower in my bathroom. The single bed was the smallest available, what I think we call a 3 foot width in the UK. Rome is an expensive city for accommodation -the average of seventy-odd pounds per night midweek in October was not a shock but still represents poor value for money - but the lack of anything economical in the city centre is another matter I suppose. Internet worked ok in the room & I wasn't charged extra for it. The computer for communal use in the outside corridor seemed to have a problem with opening its browser each time I tried but I had a laptop with me so it wasn't a problem for me though others may have been inconvenienced. Finding the place was quite tricky. The Expedia map could be much better. Also, I didn't realise it was within easy walking distance of the central train station so wasted time getting the metro to Piazza Republica. As others have noted, the breakfast room is small. Breakfast was fine except on my last day when it had finished 30 minutes before the advertised close time. Hmmm. Not good. Bathroom was fine (apart from above-mentioned lack of a bath). The main room was decorated in a fairly old-fashioned way & i think they could make more of it; brighten it up. There are some useful food shops opposite the hotel and a couple of restaurants nearby. Rome is a pretty noisy place and although the hotel is on a side street the traffic noise was quite loud:centralish location so hard to avoid.

Nice hotel in the center of Rome

Posted Oct 22, 2013
Pros: Comfortable room and good staff service.
Location: Good location and close to multiple historic sites. Easy access to different types of public transportation, restaurants and stores.
Nice hotel at walking distance of many touristic sites of Rome. It is situated a walking distance from the most important train terminal in the city. The room was comfortable and clean. It is close to good and affordable restaurants.

Very small and old room, ancient lift, bedsheets were very smelly and dirty. Breakfast was okay.

Conveniently located Hotel Safe and secure

Posted Sep 24, 2013
Pros: Friendliness of the staff, from the very first night when our taxi dropped us off
Cons: The lifts were very functional but a bit of a struggle with luggage some help might be useful especially if the guest appear to be struggling
Location: Local restaurants there was a health food shop right across the way
Very comfortable hotel staff were efficient, friendly. We'll kept and clean. We were very close to the centre lots of local restaurants which meant that going out for meals was not a bustling affair but extremely pleasant We liked it very much My daughter and I had an enjoyable time

Comfortable hotel

Pros: Friendly staff
We stayed for three nights and had a very comfortable stay. The breakfast was simple but varied and although the room was fairly small the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom well-equipped.

Pros: Hotel cleanliness and dining food and dining area service.
Cons: A little more info on hotel; parking space avail in hotel or out side of hotel to park.
Location: Excellent on location.
A short distance from this hotel to all Must-to-See areas either walking or taking a bus. Besides that, the dining area was very clean, good selection of food and drinks, and an excellent customer service from an dining servicing lady. I will go back when I re-visit Rome in the future.

Not so great...

The hotel is on the second floor of an flat. The room is fairly small, but for a 3 star hotel, it is okay. The airconditioning is not good, you can't set the temperature, between 15 to 20 degree is just a matter between on and off. Whenever you taking shower, lots water spilled on the floor. I had to use two big towels to clean it up to avoid water everywhere. The breakfast buffet has very little choice and the space very small.

Good choice

Posted Jun 23, 2013
Pros: Comfortable bed
Cons: Leak from the shower
Location: Reasonably central
The hotel is on one floor of a multi-story building, about 15 minutes walk from the main station along cobblestoned footpaths. We walked to almost everywhere a tourist would want in Roma from this central location. Plenty of hot water for the shower, but a leak tended to soak the carpet outside the bathroom door. Only one English language TV channel, but the manager said the building is moving on to another TV system. Staff most obliging with extra blankets when we were chilly, and early breakfasts when we had early tours. Breakfast room tiny and crowded, but plenty of good food to eat, and obliging waitresses.

Good hotel for the centre of Rome

Posted Jun 5, 2013
Pros: We were on the 5th floor so the noise of Rome's traffic did not disturb us
Cons: Finding it! Went past 5 times before we saw the flags!
Location: Great central location. Easy to get to all the attractions in Rome.
As you would expect for a relatively cheap hotel in the centre of Rome. It was very convenient for all the tourist areas and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast room was small but we managed to eat all three days. The room got a little cold at night but we got a blanket from reception so that was not an issue either. The room was a decent size. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was good too. The layout of the hotel was a little quirky but the lift worked well. A good thing as we were on the third floor. I would much prefer to stay at this hotel rather than a faceless large chain!

Bad hotel

Posted Jun 1, 2013
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Location: It's not on Via Veneto
I will not select this hotel once again, the water is dirty, and the hotel is not clean. Hotel location is not on Via Veneto, it's on a street far from there.
