NIce hotel but very noisy!Posted Nov 21, 2014
Pros: It was clean.
Cons: SOund proof the walls. better insolation .
Location: gas lamp.
The hotel rooms were decent for budget hotels. The location was also great because we were less than a mile away from the gas lamp district, but we were also so close to the airport that all we heard was airplanes flying over the airport all night.

Loud for air traffic, street noise. Didn't feel safe. But not in a bad neighborhood.

Good, comfortable hotelPosted Nov 11, 2014
Don't expect much from their."continental" breakfast. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and habe everything one would need. The cleaning staff do a good job. The airport is nearby so you can constantly hear the passingby of aircraft. But their windows do a good job of cutting off noise. I've come to San Diego twice.for conferences and have stayed here both times. Definitely worth.the money.

The hotel was located near the airport and many other attractions. No gluten free options for breakfast.

A reasonable hotelPosted Nov 7, 2014
Pros: Cheap, refrigerator in room, free breakfast, WiFi, location
Cons: Breakfast; eggs can be added; hard bagels can be substituted by breads.
Location: Downtown attractions, convention center, Middle Eastern & Persian restaurants, Indian restaurants, beach
The rent was quite affordable. It is in downtown area close to many businesses. However, it is about 1.5 miles from the convention center; walking might be slightly difficult if you are not so young. Airport was so close, within 15 min driving. There was no crowd. However, I had to hear the loud noise of planes all day long. They were flying like just above my head. And in the night, there was constant noise from Interstate 5, which is only 2 blocks away. The room was no so spacious but cannot complain with this price. Staffs were helpful. Overall a pleasant experience.

Far from the convention center, rooms old styledPosted Oct 23, 2014
I stayed three days to attend a meeting. The convention center is 25 min walk and the hotel location doesn't appear to be so safe at night

Perfectly Serviceable HotelPosted Oct 21, 2014
Pros: It was clean, modest and relatively inexpensive. The atrium is lovely.
Location: Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo.
We were spending two days visiting the Balboa Park museums and wanted a place that was within walking distance to the park and comparatively inexpensive. A few things we found amusing: 1) The kitchenette sink was also the bathroom sink. 2) The flight path for the San Diego Airport is practically overhead. Considering how much walking you do visiting Balboa Park we wished the hotel was a little closer.

Nightmare...Posted Oct 13, 2014
First when i checked in i was advised to walk outside and enter into another Hotel. Then light in the forye did not turn on until 8pm which meant total darkness trying to find your room. Second once in the room there were roaches, when brought to the attention of the Hotel staff they said "we will look into it." Really when? when i leave after i have paid my money to them? Lastly there was no HOT water to take a shower, again when brought to the attention of the Hotel Staff the same reply was regurguitated," we will look into in." OVERALL, THIS WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

Horrible locationPosted Oct 12, 2014
The hotel pictures doesn't describe the room well enough. First off it's literally right next to an air port so ever 20 minutes a loud planes lands and takes off right over your head. Second the only place to park is across the street where you have to pay 12 dollars for the night. Third the room is rediculously tiny me and my girl friend we constantly bumping into eachother just to get from one side to the other. I've seen closets larger than these hotel rooms. The compliment "breakfast" if you want to call it that is just juice boxes water coffee bagels muffins and cheese crackers that's it. The staff was nice but I still would never stay there again.
