Far from the convention center, rooms old styledPosted Oct 23, 2014
I stayed three days to attend a meeting. The convention center is 25 min walk and the hotel location doesn't appear to be so safe at night

Perfectly Serviceable HotelPosted Oct 21, 2014
Pros: It was clean, modest and relatively inexpensive. The atrium is lovely.
Location: Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo.
We were spending two days visiting the Balboa Park museums and wanted a place that was within walking distance to the park and comparatively inexpensive. A few things we found amusing: 1) The kitchenette sink was also the bathroom sink. 2) The flight path for the San Diego Airport is practically overhead. Considering how much walking you do visiting Balboa Park we wished the hotel was a little closer.

Nightmare...Posted Oct 13, 2014
First when i checked in i was advised to walk outside and enter into another Hotel. Then light in the forye did not turn on until 8pm which meant total darkness trying to find your room. Second once in the room there were roaches, when brought to the attention of the Hotel staff they said "we will look into it." Really when? when i leave after i have paid my money to them? Lastly there was no HOT water to take a shower, again when brought to the attention of the Hotel Staff the same reply was regurguitated," we will look into in." OVERALL, THIS WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

Horrible locationPosted Oct 12, 2014
The hotel pictures doesn't describe the room well enough. First off it's literally right next to an air port so ever 20 minutes a loud planes lands and takes off right over your head. Second the only place to park is across the street where you have to pay 12 dollars for the night. Third the room is rediculously tiny me and my girl friend we constantly bumping into eachother just to get from one side to the other. I've seen closets larger than these hotel rooms. The compliment "breakfast" if you want to call it that is just juice boxes water coffee bagels muffins and cheese crackers that's it. The staff was nice but I still would never stay there again.

Cons: New staff
Front desk employee was extremely rude. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone because of that reason.

Nice hotel, and great customer service.Posted Sep 29, 2014
I enjoyed staying here. It is a descent looking hotel. They offer a free complimentary breakfast. The only bad thing about this place is that they do not have a parking lot. Which was a huge minus. So you have to look for street parking. Or pay at the parking lot, located across the street. With that said if I was ever in the area again, I would not mind staying here again.

Nice hotel for the price and location. noisyPosted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: price and location
Cons: major improvement need for air conditioner , and windows
Location: walking distance to food , and 10 min walk to water front and 15 min to Broadway
nice area , good value for the price , a bid noisy under the path of all landing planes to SAN airport. Would recommend to everyone

Below average hotel and not worth the Price!Posted Sep 23, 2014
Cons: They could improve quite a bit.
Location: Didn't look around that area to much.
This place is way below average. There is no parking. I was lucky enough to find a spot in front but you may need to park blocks from there and drag all your luggage with you. Man working the desk wasn't very friendly. I was giving a room key shaped like a USB and told I needed to walk outside punch a specific number in the Gate next door to access the rooms. I went over there and there were no lights on. I had to literally take my phone out the see the numbers on the gate. Also needed my phone light to see the room numbers. The elevator numbers are not right so if your going to the Fifth Floor you need to press a whole different number. Some people may be a little scared just to stay here because it seems kind of shady

bad sleeping due to bed too softPosted Sep 20, 2014
Pros: Bottles of water at breakfast
Cons: beds were too soft, you cannot sleep comfortably and you will wake up wit some pain on your back!
Location: some homeless around. Hotel is close to the end of balboa park and little Italy
unless cheap the beds were too soft and you will not sleep as you wish, waking up with a lot of pain. Breakfast is from Costco! Lack of choice, milk not provided
