Nice hotel, and great customer service.

Posted Sep 29, 2014
I enjoyed staying here. It is a descent looking hotel. They offer a free complimentary breakfast. The only bad thing about this place is that they do not have a parking lot. Which was a huge minus. So you have to look for street parking. Or pay at the parking lot, located across the street. With that said if I was ever in the area again, I would not mind staying here again.

Nice hotel for the price and location. noisy

Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: price and location
Cons: major improvement need for air conditioner , and windows
Location: walking distance to food , and 10 min walk to water front and 15 min to Broadway
nice area , good value for the price , a bid noisy under the path of all landing planes to SAN airport. Would recommend to everyone

Below average hotel and not worth the Price!

Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: They could improve quite a bit.
Location: Didn't look around that area to much.
This place is way below average. There is no parking. I was lucky enough to find a spot in front but you may need to park blocks from there and drag all your luggage with you. Man working the desk wasn't very friendly. I was giving a room key shaped like a USB and told I needed to walk outside punch a specific number in the Gate next door to access the rooms. I went over there and there were no lights on. I had to literally take my phone out the see the numbers on the gate. Also needed my phone light to see the room numbers. The elevator numbers are not right so if your going to the Fifth Floor you need to press a whole different number. Some people may be a little scared just to stay here because it seems kind of shady

bad sleeping due to bed too soft

Posted Sep 20, 2014
Pros: Bottles of water at breakfast
Cons: beds were too soft, you cannot sleep comfortably and you will wake up wit some pain on your back!
Location: some homeless around. Hotel is close to the end of balboa park and little Italy
unless cheap the beds were too soft and you will not sleep as you wish, waking up with a lot of pain. Breakfast is from Costco! Lack of choice, milk not provided

It's an ok hotel

Posted Sep 12, 2014
The hotel was clean and comfy but very small. The pictures provided online make the room seem much bigger. If traveling alone, might be more suitable. The AC was not working in the first room they assigned us but we were quickly transferred to a fully functional room. Finding parking on the streets was a struggle. There is a parking lot across the street but you pay $12 for 24 hours with no in and out privileges. Staff was nice and somewhat helpful. Location of the hotel was excellent..we were close to most main attractions.

Close to the gaslamp quarters

Posted Sep 8, 2014
This place is walking distance to gaslamp quarters durung the daytime it only took us 15 minutes to get there. On our way back in the night time we took a cab only came out to 6 bucks not bad at all. Now the room itself has two tiny twin beds, not very comfortable. The room and sheets smell like stale cigarettes. Even though the room was "non smoking". There is no sink in the restroom so we have to use the one in the mini kitchen area, the hairdryer is next to the microwave also. Its just awkward. The area this place is at is not the best, the streets smell like urine and its dirty, there is no parking, so take a lot of change to use the meters, after 6pm ur ok to park anywhere. I couldn't take the smell in the room, or else I wouldn't mind coming back cause its cheap, but I wouldn't recommend it to a close friend.

Nice hotel and close to where we needed to go...

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Very nice street appearance.
Cons: Unless you can change the size of your rooms I think you guys are doing pretty good.
Location: Came for a specific event but there is plenty of nightlife and daytime restaurants nearby.
Hotel room was quite a bit smaller than expected but it got the job done. Close to where we needed to go (Civic Theater).
