only great thing was the price

Posted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: Very little
Cons: Wi Fi was steam driven. It must of been as it was so slow, when ever it was working, which was not often.
Location: Great service by trolley buses that passed by.
This place past it's use by date some years back.

Fair hotel for the price

Posted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: This was an average hotel. It is what it is, a cheap hotel in San Francisco. A very good breakfast and close to all transportation.
Cons: Internet was almost nonexistent. Computer said we were connected, but it wouldn't come up. Better cable television.
Location: Trolleys, busses and taxis are all within a few paces. The wharf and downtown are a few miles straight down the road. Easy access to everything.
Outside was noisy. I knew we were to have problems when I saw the ear plugs on the night stand. Thoughtful, but the first time I have ever seen them at a hotel. All floors were tiled, so take slippers. Had a refer and micro which was nice even though we didn't use them. Staff was very helpful and tried to solve problem.

Crumby, falling apart & surrounded by the homeless

Posted Jan 19, 2015
Payed for a room with a sofa, safe & other extras & was given a room the sz of a postage stamp w/only 2 beds. Had to argue & show the website picture on my phone to get a bigger room which still didn't have what I paid for. Horrible area w/parking lot full of homeless since they allow them to eat the breakfast that's for the guests. My room looked like it had been patched in every corner. The bedspread in my non smoking room had cig burn holes. Noises all through the night. TOTAL NIGHTMARE! Don't stay here!

Noisy, rude, uncomfortable.

Posted Jan 17, 2015
This location is noisy all hours of the night, and not just because it's the middle of the city. The walls are paper thin and people were screaming, yelling, banging on doors and walls. The room itself is ok, but the beds were horribly uncomfortable. We reserved and paid for a king and ended up with two "deluxe" beds. When we caked the front desk to schedule a wake up call, no one answered. When we finally got someone, they said they would schedule one, but never did. Knowing what I know now, I would've gotten better sleep in my car in a parking garage.

Scruffy motel in run down area

Posted Jan 15, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Cleaner room. Knocking some walls down to provide a liveable space to spend a night.
Location: If one is a tourist there is nothing closeby to see.
We had booked the hotel on line for 2 nights not knowing that hotels in SF were overloaded with convention participants. Consequently we paid $260 per night due to "dynamic pricing". The rooms were very small. To get from the door to the bathroom required walking crab like between the end of the bed and the wall. It was not clean. The day after we left the room rate had reduced to $90 still overpriced for the accommodation provided.

hotel perigoso

Posted Jan 10, 2015
