Kind of a dump.

This was an emergency stay as I live near by. Needs refurbishing, gap at bottom of door, TV is old and picture is blurry, bathroom is rudimentary. Bed was comfortable. Would not stay here again but it was cheap for one night emergency....

Sleepless Noisy Nights

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: The only redeeming quality is that it is located near the business district, other than that, nothing!!
Cons: This hotel is long overdue for a complete makeover, sound proof the walls and ceiling.
Location: The only redeeming quality is that it is located near the business district, plenty of restaurants and businesses near by.
We picked this hotel for the price and the location, soon we learned that it was near a homeless camp and they constantly hung out in the parking lot by the dumpster constantly looking for leftover food scraps, if this wasn't annoying enough the initial room we were assigned had a 30 year old king bed that had seen better days. It was so badly sagging that my wife requested we be given another room, and it was only slightly better but the manager said they all are over 30 years. The nights were almost impossible to bear, the building must not have any insulation in the walls or ceiling, the TV, voices and chatter, arguments could be clearly heard at all hours of the day and night, you know you are in the worst conditions when they leave complementary ear plugs on the night stand. We had nights that were torturous, the noise was endless. The rooms are old and dingy, no carpet, out of date, we were completely disappointed with our decision to say in this hotel, it was based on the price and what we believed to be acceptable location. We would never recommend this hotel, we learned a valuable lesson that a two star hotel is going to be a poor choice, make your choice wisely, investigate toughly or you could be in for a very unpleasant experience as we have learned. Yes this is a Travelodge, but it is way past its prime and we would strongly recommend seeking another choice.

Worst experience, if you plan to travel with children, don't go there it's a filthy, ghetto hotel. The furniture is badly deteriorated and we were even afraid to use the beds afraid of being infested with bed bugs!

Alright motel for the price!

It is on a noisy corner, you probably will wake up in middle of the night because a homeless screaming. Definitely you will wake up early after few doors starting getting slammed. Tile, no carpet on the floor, I guess make sure you bring flip flops.$15 + tax for parking That was not mentioned at all.

Great location, cheap room

Pros: Location, access to transportation, great rates.
It is a great location at an affordable price. Don't expect much more and you won't be disappointed. It is unrealistic to expect a fine hotel experience here - but the staff were professional and attentive. This is a low-cost option for staying in the heart of the city.

Nasty hotel with nasty management.

Don't expect a good experience, and don't expect the manager to care one bit about your crappy experience. I for one will never stay at any travelodge in the future. I've stayed at nasty roach motels that felt like a better deal for my money!

Hotel a little run down and in need of refurbishment, wifi not very good, showers luke warm. Also in a undesirable area but is close to tram lines which was good.

At least they provided complimentary earplugs....

Pros: the location was close to my appointments.
Cons: room updates...
Location: close to Haight Ashbury district, right off Market Street trolley line
Hotel is in a fairly seedy part of town, and the clientele reflected this...my wife would never have stayed here...it was cheap...and inexpensive...uncomfortable beds...
