Great Location, Great Price, OK room

Posted Sep 9, 2014
The room was less than I would expect from a travelodge. It was small and old. The continental breakfast was minimum passable to be called breakfast. The location is perfect! I did have to pay extra upon arrival for parking. Very average all around. I would stay again just for the location and price.

Friendly hotel staff, but terrible accommodations

Posted Sep 1, 2014
I have never stay in a hotel that cannot control its guest. I had the most disrespectful neighbors --- loud, drunk, under the influence of something, fighting, crying, screaming until 3:00 am. I contacted the front desk several times, and they never followed up.

Adequate accommodations, good b-fast!

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Breakfast was a lovely surprise. Great way to start the day!
Cons: Parking needs to be improved as well as decorator touches. Floor was linoleum in room. Cold to the feet. Bedspread and bed very uncomfortable.
Location: Location was okay, fairly close to freeway and easy to get to various site seeing places. Not much to do at night, and advisable to not walk alone.
Breakfast was a pleasant surprise! Loved it! However, hard to get sleep at night. VERY noisy! You could hear everyone passing by the room ...and their conversations. Parking was a HUGE issue as well. You pay to park in the hotel lot, but their is NO guarantee you will be able to ever park there, especially if you leave for dinner or to sight see in the evening. There is no additional, available parking anywhere close. Lack of parking price is fairly substantial compared to condition of facilities ....something to consider when you are booking a hotel in a city you are not familiar with.

Good Location and Value

Pros: walking distance between The Castro area and Downtown with a trolley right in front. coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave in room free breakfast
Cons: Morning cleaning and maintenance staff could be a little quieter
Location: Its walking distance between The Castro area and Downtown with a trolley right in front that will take you up and down Market street and to the Warf
Its located walking distance between The Castro area and Downtown with a trolley right in front that will take you up and down Market street and to the Warf . Its not far from Civic center either. It is not fancy but nice for the price. It was clean and comfortable. The free little morning breakfast was a nice touch coffee, Juice, waffles, toast, cereal, Etc. It can be a little noisy because each door opens to the outside and in the morning when the cleaning staff is doing there thing but the staff I encountered were helpful. Its nice to have a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave in the room. If you are looking for a basic nice place to stay. This is it.

If you cannot find room anywhere else

Posted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: Only place to available on that night
Cons: Noisy location but you cannot do anything about this - no hot water available during late nigh hours -
Had to stay at this hotel due to an emergency - centrally located but you get what you pay for - inexpensive compared to other hotels in SFO

LOCATION GOOD

Posted Jul 28, 2014
LOCATION IS GOOD FOR WALKING TO PLACES.. BUT IT IS VERY LOUD, AND LOTS OF PARTIERS COMING BACK EARLY AM HOURS... NO NOISE PROOFING.. EVEN THE CLEANING CARTS IN THE MORNING SOUNDED LIKE THEY WERE WHEELING IN OUR ROOM INSTEAD OF OUTSIDE ......
