Great Hotel on a Budget

I have stayed in this hotel several times. It is conveniently very near the Jinshajiang Metro station. The check-in process is quick and efficient. The rooms are IBIS-standard so there are no surprises. TV and WiFi work great. Unfortunately, on this trip, the common areas and my room was not very clean. There was dust on the shelves and in the hard-to-get-to areas. I hope the management will fix this problem. But this trip had a great bonus: the humongous Global Harbor Shopping is opened, OMG, it has everything, shops, restaurants, fast foods, even a huge TESCO (like a super WalMart). Except for sightseeing, you really don't need to go anywhere else. I will definitely stay here again.

Not a very clean hotel

Pros: resources
Cons: smell
Location: ugly neighborhood. dirty. but very close to a train station
Very difficult to communicate in english. Sheets and rooms smell like pee. had resources for guests. Too much noise in other rooms very late at night.

The location is bad, the service was poor and the staff were arrogant. I arrived late at night and the desk clerk told me I needed to give him three hundred RMB - I asked if he would return this to me the next day and was told that he would return one hundred. I argued that I had already paid the bill by booking with Expedia. This exchange went on for over half an hour before he agreed that he would return all the money the next day. This whole exchange was conducted in Chinese and I needed to call two Chinese friends to clarify his intention. This was not needed late in the evening after a flight. I checked out as soon as I woke up - no eye contact from the new staff - money placed on desk - nothing said. Pure arrogance. Also, the hotel is poorly situated and the surrounding area is bad. I checked out and stayed in the Jing'an Temple area the next day - much better.
