“Florida's Econo”

We had a very nice stay. The check in was a bit confusing but they had our reservations. The only problem we had was when the housekeeper took our linens she did not leave any and we had to wait about 45 minutes to get some and we were late for our dinner due to this. Other than that everything was good.

“Ok hotel, great shuttle service”

This hotel had a shuttle service to the cruise ship that was free and a very nice bonus. I would recommend this hotel just for the great shuttle service. Otherwise it was just an ok hotel.

“Not Impressed”

Hotel sits beside the Banana River and when we arrived at low tide the stench was so horrible that my wife had to wear a mask over her nose and mouth - and that was in the room. The breaker for the electrical power tripped and when I informed the front desk they said they had to wait for the maintenance man to arrive. He was the only one with a key - none of the hotel staff had a key to get into the breaker panel. We were without the TV, refrigerator and microwave for hours. Unsat.

“Not impressed”

Hotel was clearly older, though fairly close to the Space Center. 'Complimentary breakfast' consisted of a coffee pot, a box of doughnuts and one table with two chairs. Remote for the TV didn't work and we were told 'you need to program it' A fair night's stay at best.

“Nice people. It was OK”

We arrived late, but got the rooms immediately. The clerk explained to us where we could have a nice dinner and, indeed, the place he suggested was very good. I would suggest that the breakfast to have also something that is not sweet, for instance cream cheese or eggs.

“.....uh.....lots of stains....”

This place accepts dogs and is fine if you really need a place to stay. The carpet and sheets where stained, so that was gross. We brought sleeping bags, so we just used them for the hotel to lay on. The lighting looks like yellow bulbs were being used and there's not much of it. So, yellow and dim- really depressing. I always feel there's no way to represent accurate sleeping ratings. (So many things are a factor when you're on vacation. ) But, I have to make mention that when my husband sat on the side of the bed to change tv channels, the bed broke. We thought it was just slipping off the metal frame, but literally, the wooden box spring broke- it was so old. Management came and switched it out. The new bed was then a full 2" taller than the other bed, leading me to believe they had been using some old old mattresses. In a pinch, it's a place to stay. But be sure you get a good rate for the night! the waitstaff at the continental breakfast were very nice and made sure food was replenished! Check in staff were great, too! Waited 45 minutes after calling front desk, for new towels in the room. They never came. So we walked to the front desk directly to get some. he had to call on a walkie-talkie for housekeeping to come to our room. And it still took 10 more minutes (we were trying to leave for the day- and they can't housekeep our room because the dogs were there). Frustrating.
