pleasant stay

The hotel is located in a city centre, however you still need to use metro if you want to get to Nevskiy prospect. We stayed in winter, the rooms are spacious and very warm. A boiler makes horrible noises and water presure is not good enough for my liking. A shower can't keep the same temperature for 10 minutes, it gets either little bit hotter or colder than a desirable setting... Very friendly staff. There are only 6 rooms in the hotel so you get a feeling as if you are staying in someones flat. I quite enjoyed this privacy. It is a very quet flat though. Overall, I would recommend if you are happy to use city metro for doing some siteseeing.

Good value, central, comfortable hotel.

Pros: Value for money
Cons: entrance hall and lift
Location: central
Good value hotel for St Petersburg and close to historical area and metro station. This is not a luxury hotel but perfectly comfortable with a decent Russian style breakfast and free tea, coffee and filtered water all day. International airport bus leaves from opposite the hotel so that is very convenient. Be careful not to put any toilet paper in the toilet as ours blocked and they weren't happy..! Hotel shares a building with businesses/residential and the tiny lift and entrance hall is is uninviting.

Things you need to know about this hotel

Me and my Mom went to see the north capital of Russia Saint Petersburg. I absolutely recommend everybody to see this amazing city. I have travelled a lot all over the world, so I can defiantly say that this is one of the most beautiful cities I ever saw. The hotel we stayed is a mini-hotel which occupies third floor of elevated residential building. The convenience and location are great. Its is 10 min walking from the main street Nevsky pr, 15 min walk from The State Hermitage Museum. Hotel located near by two subway stations, many restaurants and bistros and the market. The rooms are clean, well equipped with refrigerator and high speed internet access. The breakfast is basic ( yogurts, sausages, eggs, milk, coffee, cookies), same every day of your stay, so after a while you might choose to have breakfast elsewhere. I would recommend Elki-Palki place on Nevsky prospekt, great budget bistro with cultural russian cuisine. The rooms of the hotel face Moskovsky pr, so can get pretty noisy. Overall, I would recommend to stay in this unpretentious hotel if you looking for basic clean room and good speed internet.
