Pros: The hotel had a great pool and hot tub area that the kids really enjoyed.
Cons: A general overhaul.
Stayed four nights with the family. Convenient location and quiet. Could obviously use some updates, but that also adds to the charm of the place. Wouldn't be surprised to find this hotel used as a film location.

Descent hotel close to white rock

The grout and caulking needs replacing on the tub. The facility is more than adequate other than that.

Very helpful staff

Posted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: Staff, pool, restaurant food.
Cons: Bathroom sink areas have been updated, shower tub could possibly be modernized.
Location: White Rock beach 5 minute drive. Easy to get to local shopping mall, maybe 10 min or less
The front desk staff were excellent for helping with directions and providing small items when asked. The cleaning staff were very friendly and seemed happy in their work. Good vibes all around. Enjoyed the pool, hot tub and sauna. Sunday brunch was very good. Rooms about average but there's only so much you can do in an older hotel. Stayed three nights and would probably do so again if i needed a hotel in area.

Nice hotel but terrible restaurant

Posted Jul 28, 2015
Nice clean room but loud ice machine right outside our door in the hallway. Also no coffee maker , plates or spoons in the room. The pool is nice... But don't eat at the restaurant... Terrible service and even worse food

Convient for the purpose but 'very dated'

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: Location only and close to major highways
Cons: Give it a complete face lift......needs new paint inside and out
Location: Visit to friends and family....that's about all
Light bulb out in bathroom for 3 days, shabby carpet, a hot of chips on door frames, corners. poor lighting in room.

Not great experience

Posted Jul 27, 2015
We booked here because friends were getting married close by and they had friends and family book at this hotel. When we arrived, the room assigned to us reaked of cigarette smoke even though a 'smoje free' hotel. Hotel staff were very accomodating and moved us to another room though. The rooms are very dated and in big need of new matresses. What was the biggest disappointment was the couple getting married were told they had a suite and it was paid for due to family and friends booking there, they have the email confirming this. Then were called two days before to be told they were incorrect and had a regular room and charged full price for it. They refused to own up to their mistake, didn't even apologize. Will not be booking here again and will be spreading the word on this.

Convenient, beautiful, enjoyable, excellent room

Posted Jul 25, 2015
Pros: Everything
Cons: In the restaurant, the booth seats were too low for most women. I am about 5'5" and moved to a chair -table location.
Location: The location is great for highway access to 99 which was the major route in fast travel.
Very enjoyable. Lots of parking, too and free. Convenient for travel to Vancouver and Whistler and more.

Disappointing resort.

Posted Jul 24, 2015
Pros: Front desk customer service and cleanliness saved the visit.
Cons: Have Jacuzzi open later. Provide movie entertainment access.
Location: Visit White rock. Vancouver's hidden gem.
Rundown building with cheap renovations. Thought it would have been a nice resort. Was a small building with motel 6 like rooms. Clean but cheap. No room services but dominoes discount.... basic cable, no movie selections, no DVD and no microwave. Toilet handle kept getting stuck. Cheap tasteless breakfast. Thin walls and loud adolescents partying all night hopping rooms. Workout room, Pool and Jacuzzi closed at 9. Hallways reeked of cigarettes. Front desk was friendly and accommodating. Food service staff not so friendly. Front desk customer service, price, and cleanliness of room was the only positive asset to this resort. Otherwise I would call it a run down motel with a resort building and a fitness center for nonhotel residents to use as club. It's also not located in Vancouver. It's an hour away. I searched on expedia and it came up as a Vancouver location. Next to freeway but I luckily got a room on the other side otherwise we would have heard cars all night. Rooms looked like they had cheap renovations from a building that needed major renovations. Room had older run down feel with newer renovated additions.
