Nice Hotel

Posted Oct 28, 2014
Pros: Loved the hotel great place to stay
Cons: The wireless internet connection seemed to slow down from time to time.
Location: Mayfair Mall across the street and just about everything else is within 5 minute drive. Bus stop at the corner of the lot.
The room was good and over looked a busy street but could barely hear the road noise. It was across the street from the Mayfair Mall and close to other shopping. The breakfast was good (eggs, sausages, cereal, waffles and toast). Ample parking and close to everything. 5 minute drive to the museum. The only drawback was the wireless internet connection seemed slow at times. Great place to stay.

Good Budget Hotel in Convenient Location

Posted Oct 24, 2014
Pros: Room cleanliness, friendly, helpful staff, breakfast buffet, convenient location.
Cons: Some rooms could use a bit of updating.
Location: Mayfair Shopping Plaza, Downtown Victoria attractions
We have stayed at Comfort Inn in Victoria a couple of times this year. The hotel is well located next door to the Mayfair shopping mall and about a 10 minute drive to downtown Victoria. The hotel is not fancy but is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. During our most recent stay, we were traveling with an infant and the hotel was able to accommodate our request for early check in. The hotel's breakfast buffet is good with scrambled eggs, sausage or ham as well as bagels, pastries, cereal, yogurt and fruit. Overall this hotel is a good choice for business travelers or families on a budget.

Great hotel close to mall and great beds

Posted Oct 8, 2014
Pros: The beds and pillows are great, it is very important to me to have a comfortable bed and pillows
Cons: I had a bit of a problem with the internet going off and on that could be worked on, other then that I think it's pretty good
Location: Save On Food Center is pretty close so it made it great for our concerts. Walking distance for us.
Let our friend park in their parking lot while we all went to the concert. Good PR

Nothing Fancy but Good Quiet Hotel

Posted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: Free parking, free breakfast, free wifi and although we faced the highway, our room was still quiet over night.
Cons: Accessibility to the tower elevators could be improved. An automatic door and a larger flat area outside the door for waiting.
Location: Good location, we walked to shopping and were able to eat close by.
We have a disabled child who uses a wheelchair. We were put in the tower--the room was comfortable. However, the elevator to access the tower is located outside by the beer and wine store--there is a glass door that you have to go through before you can get to the elevator buttons. The door does not open very wide and it is not automatic--it would have been very hard to get into the building (or out) if my husband and I were not there together. There is no way our child would have been able to get into the little room to wait for the elevator on his own.

Nice hotel within walking distance of shopping mal

Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: reasonably priced with breakfast included, close & easy access to downtown, free parking, within easy walking distance to shopping mall, soundproofed
Cons: larger cafeteria for breakfast? people were waiting for tables to be available
Location: large shopping mall less than 5 minute walk, also restaurants, easy access to major roads
room was comfortable & clean, bathroom was sparkling clean, adequate towels, bed was comfortable with choice of pillows provided, despite being next to 2 major streets the noise was negligible

EXCELLENT accommodation and close to everything.

Posted Sep 22, 2014
Pros: Nothing to dislike. Rooms and bed were superb.
Cons: Add a restaurant.
Will come back. Close to downtown and an easy driving commute to outlying attractions such as the Butchart Gardens.

Clean and comfortable

Posted Sep 14, 2014
This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel. I really value the cleanliness. The mattresses were just right. I loved the free breakfast. I would recommend staying in the tower and not the main hotel. The main hotel is too close to the parking lot and you can hear people arriving and leaving at night.
