Main Central Place to Stay

Posted Oct 13, 2014
Pros: It was a motel and central and most important clean, with fresh towles and bedding every day.
Cons: Would help if Receptionist was more welcomming friendly and helpful which she was not and not good after a long journey.
Location: Not a good outlook view but were near everything from restuarants and take aways plus lots more, also near main motorways to travel and explore
It was a good base to stay everything you needed was close by eg take a ways or resturants and shops. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable so had a good night sleep.

Does what it says on the can!

Clean, tidy and compact, a bed and bathroom for the night ideal if all you need is somewhere to sleep while travelling. Staff were friendly. It is in a bit of an industrial area but you only have to drive about a km and there is a strip with loads of fast/family restaurants which probably serve those visiting the nearby Futuroscope. Didn't get the wifi to work but didn't try very hard.

Handy for Futurscope

Very convenient for access to the theme park and a short drive in to Poitier. We use premiere classe regularly and they are usually clean tidy and great value for money.

Customer for 10 years, shocked at how bad it was

Posted Oct 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
I've been staying in Premiere Classe hotels all over France for 10 years. For this night I had booked two rooms. Upon arrival we found that the one room hadn't been serviced at all. The bed sheets and blankets were strewn across the bed and floor, and the bathroom waste bin was full. The staff came and 'serviced the room', replacing the sheets and emptying the bin (took about 3 minutes). However, it never felt clean at all. I shudder to even think about whether it was hygienically clean. The other room had a toilet that had fast flowing (and noisy) running water into the bowl all of the time. I companied again to the reception staff, and after a short wait they sent someone up to the room to explain how I could take the toilet flush off the wall, put my hand into the wall cavity and wiggle the pipework until the water stopped running. This had to be done each time the toilet was flushed. The mere fact that they knew how to do this proves that their standards are slipping. This hotel is long overdue a refresh, but also someone needs to take some responsibility for quality assurance.

Compact and quite noisy

Posted Oct 17, 2012 on Hotels.com
I've stayed at Premiere Classe hotels many times. In this one the room we had seemed even smaller than usual (if that's at all possible). I was amazed at the noise other guests were prepared to make until 3am - knowing that the other 50 rooms would be occupied by people trying to sleep. This isn't really the hotels fault, but I'm sure the layout and cramped conditions has something to do with it. Time for another chain to come in and take over by offering a bit more for the ever increasing price?

Pros: Value for money.
Cons: The breakfast room is too small.
Location: Ideally located if travelling on the RN10.
This hotel, as per others in the chain, is good for a one night stay whilst on the road. You get what you paid for,no more or less. The breakfast room was too crowded to use, so we obtained breakfast elsewhere.

Good hotel near Futuroscope

Posted Aug 2, 2009 on Hotels.com
Chose this hotel because it was a good price near Futuroscope and was not disappointed. The hotel was easy to find and was just a short distance from the main entrance to Futuroscope and just off the main road. It was a good clean basic hotel and as such was value for money. The rooms were not very spacious but were big enough for a 2 night stay and were clean with good facilities. Breakfast was typical budget hotel fare of juice, tea, coffee; cornflakes, chocolate cornflakes; croissants, French stick, sweet bread; jam, marmalade, chocolate spread; yogurt. You get a tray but no plate for bread etc - strange but normal in this type of hotel in my experience! Several hotels are nearby and there is one restaurant which served good food at a reasonable price. Plenty of parking although you may not be near your own room if you are late back.
