Experience the Soviet era Spa!Posted Nov 6, 2012 on Hotels.com
This is an economical way to see Yalta while experiencing the Soviet era Spa. The Spa is not for those looking for modern luxuries. It has retained its Soviet era charm. The beds are small. The balcony did not have a screen door. However, for the money, it was well worth the price. It is a short walk from the promenade and the sea. There are also children, families, and teens using the Spa, so there is the chance to experience the local culture and meet the natives in a holiday environment..

Sovıet look, Sovıet AttıtutePosted Sep 22, 2011 on Hotels.com
İ loved the look of the buıldıng, very Sovıet lookıng... It ıs good value for Yalta sınce the rates are so low. But the attitude of the staff at the admınıstratıon buıldıng for check-ın wasnt very courteous, althought the lady dıd speak some englısh. You have to pay, cash only, and no euros, before you even see your room. No substıtutıons permıtted. I had a room wıth 2 sıngle beds and a bathroom shared. The balconny was actually as bıg as the room, whıch I lıked a lot. I suggest you should ask for a seavıew room (wıch I dıdnt do) because the vıews from up there are marvelous. The Hotel ıs also a lıttle bıt noısy, and the small wooden door lets all the noıse enter the room. Some kıds contınuıng the party at the hotel at 6AM woke me up and ı had to go ask them to turn down the radıo. Also, Check-out ıs at 9AM... I have never heard of such thıng before ın my lıfe. It ıs WAY TOO EARLY!

Great if you want a retro Soviet holiday experience. (Though service is fine). Awful if you want anything nice.
