Not impressed. And old, old hotel.

Within range of extended family

Room was quiet, being near the rear of the building. No traffic sounds from US 1. Very nice continental breakfast. Rear access to two shopping areas was handy. Only problem was with electrical malfunction late one night that put out the lights on the sign and the front parking area so that it was difficult to even find the hotel coming back after dark.

Great value for a couple of nights

Great price, clean room, front desk helpful, but could use some updating. It was so quiet we felt like we were the only ones there (a little spooky). Breakfast was included which was good. Great location, easy access to the university (going the back route). Unless I won the lottery, I’d stay here again.

The bed was hard as a rock

For the price everything was very acceptable for a quick overnight - but the bed was so uncomfortable we will not go back.

Basic comfort

Location was very convenient for visiting Princeton campus, good restaurants 2 blocks away. Staff was friendly and courteous ! Room clean and comfortable, nice hot breakfast included. We would stay there again.

Great hotel for the price

Hotel was in a great location with a mall right next door that had a lot of great places to eat. It’s right off of US 1, but there is a back way to get you onto it. You are only about a 15min drive to the train station as well, which was great for us becuase we made a few trips into NYC. Only problem I had with the hotel was that the second night there my key (either one of them) would open my door. I went to the front desk and they fixed the problem right away and said to keep the key away from my cell phone as that can de-activate them. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

much better than expected

Free shuttle was very helpful and room was comfortable and wide enough compared with Nassau inn, whose room was really small and tab was leaking all the time.

Pleasant experience

I stayed with my family at this hotel after a family emergency brought us to Princeton. We were very pleased with the hotel - there are a numbefer of other hotels on this strip, and this one definitely seems best value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel provided all those little extras - coffee in the rooms, fruit salad and eggs/bacon at breakfast, access to free internet - that can make a stay more enjoyable.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Route 1 can be a bit of a nightmare - to go the other direction, you often need to drive in the wrong direction until the next exit to turn around. After staying at this hotel for several days, we realized that there was a back road that takes you directly to the overpass. This short cut can save you a lot of time!!

Worth the Price

This hotel has seen better days, but served my wife and my needs for an inexpensive place to stay while visiting our daughter who was due to give birth. The desk clerk was helpful. Lack of maintenance was apparent throughout the facility.

A nicely maintained hotel with excellent service, that is well located for shopping, kayaking, using the train station, visiting Princeton, and gaining access to a variety of interstate highways.

I liked: * location, quite, court yard, generous breakfast with pancakes, short distance to supermarket, wireless internet, price, friendly staff On the slightly negative side: * dark rooms, lacking privacy for rooms on the ground floor, need to add tea bags to rooms Overall a very good choice.

Will definitely use again when in the area.

Hotel is quite sufficient for a business traveler.

Good value & great location

I was promised a noon check out when I cheked in only to be bothered with requests that I leave and even harrassed by the cleaning staff and staff at the front desk beginning at 10:30 AM. They really should invest in new mattresses and some lighter colored carpet, but overall amenities and staff were great. Also very excellent location.

Rooms have all important amenities and location is very central and easy to find. Great restaurants are plentiful within a one-mile radius.

The staff were very nice. The outdoor pool and grounds were kept clean. I felt the room was just ok. The bathroom looked old and very plain. The locks on the hallways were broken, so you did not need your key card to get in. Overall, just so, so.

ECONOMICAL MOTEL IN PRINCETON AREA

This is an average American motel, no frills, but it was very tidy, well-kept and an excellent value for our overnight trip to Princeton. It is also a very short drive to shopping strips and dining along the highway.

although the staff was very friendly and helpful,the hotel had an old musky smell to it and the rooms odor was worse.Would not go back.
