Coast Anabelle Hotel

Very nice place

My sister and I stayed at the hotel two nights and were very pleased with all aspects of our stay. The room was clean, comfortable and roomy. The in-room internet service through the flat screen tv was nice. I’d recommend this hotel without any hesitation.

Hotel was very comfortable, cozy and quiet. The rooms were well equipped and pretty clean. Rooms were equipped with flat sceen television, computer, small refrigerator, iron and board, hair dryer and coffee pot. Conveniently located to Universal and area attractions. Easy on and off free way entrances. Staff were pleasant and efficient. We will stay at this hotel again.

Good Value

The hotel was clean and well decorated. I liked the free wireless service. I think it should be made clear that the gym, and possibly the pool, are actually across the street at the motel which they are associated with. The staff was polite and helpful everytime we asked for assistance. It was a nice touch to have the beds turned down in the evening.

A very nice experience

This hotel was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast at the restaurant was very good and the service was excellent. The waiter even gave us coffee to go.

Excellent Hotel! Price is right!

Good value in a good area

Stayed here while on business. Close to highways, studios and other transportation to get all around the LA area. Rooms are quite comfortable, with nice new beds. Giant TV/computer was great, though my computer obviously hadn’t been maintained (software-wise) in a while, and finally shut down for maintenence one night. It was nice to be able to email from my bed!

Close to Disney, Warner Brothers and other studios, if you’re into that.

Surprising Gem in Burbank

Different members of my family have stayed twice at this hotel in the last 6 months. We have always found it to be quiet, clean and enjoyed the restaurant located on the main floor. It is situated at a perfect spot in the LA area for getting to everything! The staff is very professional as well as friendly and the rooms are large. We will continue to make it OUR place to go when visiting LA!

The hotel is near the NBC studios and also shares recreational duties with the hotel right next door so there is access to a pool.

The only hotel I’ve ever stayed in where I do not have to remove the comforter before I lay on the bed or go to sleep. Friendly, helpful staff. Always clean!

Nice hotel - Hidden charges

Overall the hotel was nice, however, when we checked out we noticed that we had been charged a separate $15.00 fee on our credit card. We inquired about the charge and were told that this was a mandatory fee charged because our room was equipped with an on-demand movie system. We had not used the system and were not informed of the fee so we asked for the charge to be reversed. To make a long story short, the hotel promised to reverse the charge and then charged us anyway. The only way I could get the charge reversed was to dispute it through my card company. It was a small thing, but it really ruined our opinion of the place.

The Hotel staff was very accomodating and the room was very nice and clean. I t was a very pleasent experience overall and i would reccomend it to people i know.

Gem in Burbank

This hotel had a nice layout, was very clean and even though there was a lot of activity in the bar area once we were in our room we couldn’t hear any noise. They had a nice pool available also. I would recommend it.

We found to location to be perfect for our stay. Close enough to everything we wanted to do in LA.

Nice Hotel

Very nice hotel the beds were great, and a big flat screen TV was a nice touch too! It was nice to have a small fridge as well. The only disappointment was there are no bath tub in the room. They were very helpful at the front desk too. Also keep in mind that internet comes with your room, they will charge you for it whether you use it or not and that fee is not covered by expedia so you’ll have to pay that when you check out.

Clean and comfortable!

My family and I were on a six day trip to L.A. and we stayed at three different hotels. This was the best of the three both in comfort and cleanliness. The front desk was very helpful with directions to the events that we wanted to see. I would definitely return and recommend this hotel to my friends.

first if you want a good meal there a Italian restaurant in the yellow pages with a ad i do not know the name bot it is om mangola st also take the full day bus tour it will pick you up at the hotel and drop you off that way you get to know where everything is at with going in circles

It was just okay

The hotel staff was very nice and the hotel food was very good. It was clean. I had requested a smoking room when I booked the trip, with two beds but the only room available was one king sized bed, which was quite uncomfortable. There is only one small shelf in the shower for a bar of soap & nowhere to put shampoo or conditioner or anything else one might need.

Ruined the entire day

I had previously submitted a complaint regarding the hotel. Here is a copy: I booked one night at the Coast Annebelle hotel and was extremely disappointed. -The AC unit did not work, when we checked in, the room must have been about 85 degrees, with no windows to open. -When following up after returning from dinner, hoping the room would have cooled down, no luck, still hot. It did not cool down until 2-3 am. My husband and I did not sleep all night! -One phone did not work, when I tried to call the front desk, they could not hear me and told me later it did not work. -The toilet was leaking, it made noise all night. -No swimming pool on the property.We would have had to walk across the street-not worth it. -No breakfast. -TV difficult to operate, when called the front desk to simply find out how to watch basic TV, he could not explain it, result: Frustration and turned off the TV. In summary, for the money, the hotel was not what I expected for a 3* hotel.

Do not stay here if you want to have a pool for the kids, nor if you want breafast. Double check the AC is working--it failed when we stayed there. No shuttle service to Universal, check noisy toilet.

Great Stay, but...

Great location to studios and attractions, very clean, friendly service. A wonderful stay. Only problem for me was no complimentary breakfast and a daily charge for use of regular TV. Also, be warned that the fitness center and pool are actually on the grounds of their sister motel, Safari Inn, across the street. (But it didn’t seem like anyone used either service anyway.) As long as you are aware of these things, I would absolutely recommend Coast Anabelle Hotel.

Overall nice hotel

The hotel is laid back and very comfortable. Location is very accessible to Universal Studios. For a hotel restaurant, the food was very good and reasonably priced. Staff was able to get us an added discount to Universal. The only drawback is the location of the pool. It is located at the hotel that is adjacent to Coast Anabelle and is small.

Good Location - But no pool at the Hotel

The hotel is very close to the main studios, good restaurants, the zoo and Universal Studios theme park. Comfortable rooms and pretty lobby. Restaurant was convenient next to lobby, good food, good drinks and good service. However, we would only recommend the hotel if you don’t care about having a pool. The pool noted in the amenities is not at this hotel, but is at a sister hotel across a side street. The pool is in okay condition and is located next to the main sidewalk on Olive - Not secure and not private. The beds were comfy and morning coffee was excellent, but the bathroom and coffee area were in fair condition and were not cleaned very well. Coffee drops on wall next to coffee maker noted when we first checked in were still there when we left (5 days later). Also a couple of very tiny bugs were found in the bathroom. Would not likely stay again, because we enjoy having a pool in the same hotel.

Bob’s Big Boy on Riverside is good for family dining and fun atmosphere - food is okay, nothing special. However, Mo’s (next door to Bob’s) has absolutely the best food, excellent burgers and breakfast and great service!

Good location nice hotel

Hotel was very nice. Bed very comfortable. Small restaurant in hotel reasonably priced, other eating within walking distance. Neighborhood seemed safe. Good location.
