Sheraton Cleveland Airport Hotel

Tired funrishings but very convenient.

This was our first stay at the Cleveland Sheraton Airport and it’s location is the key here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It was convenient to return our rental car at the hotel and take the brief shuttle to the airport. The hotel appears "tired and old". The beds are comfortable and it was extremely quiet at night. (Important to us). You don’t really notice being near the airport. The room certainly needed upgrading but housekeeping was done properly. Real disadvantage is not being near eating places. Hotel food is just fair and no fridge in room is inconvenient. Overall--we would stay again if we are in Cleveland and want to be near airport.

If you want to be near eating places stay elsewhere. If you have an early flight and want to be close, stay here.

I travel a lot, this hotel was very comfortable & friendly staff!

It was a good place to stay. You can hear the planes take off, but for early departures to come home, it’s perfect! No traffic, friendly shuttle drivers (mine was very helpful with my bag as well). Shuttle service is a must for me. The Sheraton Airport in Cleveland had the comfifrt I seek when I am away from home.

convenient and comfortable

I did not have much time to even sleep, which is why I chose this hotel, had 4 hours before a very early flight. Hotel was nice, comfortable and reasonable.

The Sheraton

The Sheraton Cleveland Airport was a great place to stay. Quiet, clean, and very close to the airport with convenient shuttle service and access to transportation if you need it.

Terrific service

Great hotel. The bed was soft and so comfortable. I forgot some things hanging on the back of bathroom door and the hotel sent them directly to me at their expense. Exericise room was nice but half of the equipment was out of order.

Great convenience

Hotel was very comfortable and employees very courteous and helpful. The convenience of leaving our vehicle at the hotel and shuttled to the airport was wonderful. We would do it again.

Not bad

Can’t say anything good or bad about this hotel, since I only stayed one nights. Definitely up to Sheraton standards. Convenient because if you drive it is easy to get in and out the airport. The lobby could be a bit noisy, since this is an airport hotel.

Dingy

This hotel is a typical, tired, old-fashioned airport hotel. The room are small, the bathrooms are dark and reminiscent of an old Holiday Inn, and the floors are filthy to the point that I wouldn’t touch them with bare feet. Restaurant choices in the area are limited. On the positive, the parking is free.

Excellent hotel

The shuttle service from the airport to hotel was quick and drivers were friendly and efficent handling our luggage. Hotel desk personnel were very professional and pleasant. The rooms was above our expectation. It was quiet, even with the hotel being so close to the airport. The beds were very comfortable. Nice restaurant onsite. All these features made our trip more enjoyable and less stressful. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Best option when you have an early AM flight @ CLE

We have stayed it this hotel a number of times from our fairly frequent visits to Cleveland area. If you have an early AM flight, it can’t be beat as it it takes less than 5 min from when you are walking out the front door of the hotel to when you can be checking in. Room was good quality, very clean, internet worked (not always the case in some hotels). My wife and daughter have eaten here in the past and have found it to be pretty good quality and service.

Filthy room and bad service!

The room had a dirty smoky smell to it. The bathrm had dirt/dust on the walls and there were stains on the wall under the sink, It seemed as if someone threw a soda into the trash and it splashed. The shower was dirty and there was dirt on the carpet. Dust on all available flat surfaces and my son and husband have allergies. There was a cigarette burn about the size of a half dollar on one of the comforters. When we called to complain the woman at the desk warned us that we had better not be smoking in the room or there would be a 300.00 fee assessed to our credit card. I said we were not smoking and asked for another room. She said she couldn’t change our room, even though the hotel was not at capacity that evening, but she would send someone up to give us another comforter. 3 hours went by and no replacement comforter. We called again and was told they were on their way. We fell asleep waiting and never did get it replaced. We chose this hotel because of it’s proximity to the Cleveland Airport. We had a 7:45am flight to Disney World the next morning. The only good thing I can say about the hotel experience was the shuttle to the airport was prompt. For the money we paid to stay one night to catch an early flight, we were extremely disappointed. The service was non-existent. I would recommend to all that they choose another hotel at the Cleveland airport area. It was a disappointing way to begin our family’s trip.

Stay anywhere else! It is not worth the money.

Good choice

We have stayed at this hotel several times arriving on friday nite and checking out saturday morning to board our early flight to the west coast. We really weren’t there long enough to utalize all the hotel has to offer, but it was convience and saving time that we were most interested in.

Expect to have a quality stay but don’t expect a five star residence.

Never Again

The hotel room was dirty and load. I also called for a wake up call which never happened. You would think for the Sheraton that the hotel would of been nicer but it was not!

Hotel is ok, however it will be nice to be notified before making reservations that the hotel is under construction, they are remodeling the rooms and out bathroom was not very pleasant.

Room was great, got a deal for a night’s stay and parking all week which was awesome. Shuttle very prompt, and drivers courteous. Literally minutes from gates.

Tried to pull a fast one.

The room offered to us was right beside elevator causing excess noise in the room. We requested a quiet room but was still put in this room. We had to change rooms.

Excellent if you are staying by the airport

If you arrive late ant night is better to stay by the airport and start moving to your final destination in the morning.

Actually at the airport

This hotel is actually physically on the grounds of the airport, which is ok if you’re flying. BUT, there is absolutely NOTHING nearby; no restaurants (other than the one in the hotel), shops, or other amusements. The parking for the hotel is the airports long term parking lot.

Good hotel by the airport

Clean, courteous, well maintained. Good restaurants with no reason to go out on a very cold winter night. If you need to be by the airport in Cleveland (and who wouldn’t), I would recommend this location.
