Great Hotel in North Myrtle Beach

My husband and I were traveling from Raleigh to a concert at House of Blues. The concert was canceled and we ended up going anyways for the weekend. It was wonderful, the pool is huge! We hung out at Barefoot Landing which is walking distance, although we drove. It is not on the beach, which was ok since it was September and we were all beached out. The beach is very close though! Would love to buy a condo in the development! We are looking into it for next year.

Dicks is a lot of fun, Bully’s in Barefoot is cool for Darts and Pool. Lots of restaurants ans shops just a stones through away at Barefoot Landing. House of Blues is awesome!

Beautiful Golf Villas

We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa on the golf course. The room was very clean and comfortable except for the King size bed which was actually 2 twins put together. Our room had a balcony overlooking the swimming pool on one side and a beautiful pond with a fountain on the other side, very peaceful. The grounds were nicely manicured and it was a great place to take a long walk. The resort was just a few miles to Barefoot Landing and to the beach. The only problem was there was no parking at the beach but they do have a shuttle bus that runs to and from the beach until 4:00 pm every day. We would definetly book this resort for our next golf vacation.

This resort is close to Barefoot Landing, the beach, Broadway at the Beach. It is in a perfect location.

Room wiht a view

Great rooms, large and nicely furnished, will stay again, hotel was clean, in central North Myrtle beach near everything. Had a view of the inner harbor, fireworks on Saturday night. It is not on the beach, maid service every other day, if you need pampering of room service and bellhop, choose another place. I’ll be back.

DO NOT eat at New China Restaurant. Entire family got sick and food and service were pitiful.

Disappointed

This was the second time I had stayed at the Barefoot Resort, and my family has been many more times. I was very disappointed with the cleanliness and condition of my room. There was a hole in the wall that had to be repaired while we were there, and my bathroom was filthy. The last time I stayed there (2 years ago) I couldn’t wait to return. Next time, I will stay somewhere else.

Great place for the price.

The 2 bedroom 2 bath was spacious and clean. Very comfortable. Great place for the price. 2 beds pushed together to make a king bed was a little crazy as we had to make sure we did not sleep in toward the middle of the bed because it would move apart.

was very impressed when we saw the villas the rooms and how big it was. the master bedroom and bathroom was really nice.the kitchen dinning room and wsher and dryer it was a home away from home but quiet.my family that was with us enjoy it to.

The condo at the yacht club was great. It was very large so their was plenty of room for the 3 of us. My daughter loved the pool and the view of the marina from our 6th floor unit was great. There was no maid service, but we do the timeshare thing so it was not a problem.

BEACH CONDO GETAWAY

The only thing was the way the condo/townhouse was set up, it was kinda of different from what im use to seeing as far as the garage being on a different floor from the condo, but when you walk in we were like "wow" it was beautiful. I basically was more excited about resting there instead of going to the pool or other places. It wsa very relaxing, cozy, its everything you would want in a vacation..

I would recommend that you would rest all you can before you come to the beach, so that you can fully enjoy everything the beach has to offer.

Great place

The Barefoot Yacht Club is a great place to stay. My husband and I love the yacht club condos as well as the golf villas. If you don’t mind driving a short distance to the beach then you can’t beat this place. The condos and the villas are beautiful and very clean.

The North Tower was awesome and very accomodating...I would love to stay here again. The carpets could use some cleaning and a few cosmetic repairs but I like everything about my room! Very nice and friendly staff.....I will be back!

Home away from home

This hotel was absolutely comfortable. It was like a home away from home. There was plenty of room for everyone if they wanted to be off by themselves for awhile. The hotel was extremely quiet and we had no problems with running into neighbors. Everything was super clean and in good condition. The rugs looked a little worn, but not to the point where I wouldn’t walk without shoes. The condo was updated and the kitchen has all essentials needed to maintain a "home." The pool was clean and quiet. We will definately be coming back again next year. My husband who hates hot weather asked me if I’d ever be interested in retiring in Myrtle Beach and buying a condo at Barefoot Resorts. That was crazy for me to hear! I"d recommend this resort to any and everyone. OH and for those of you who are looking for hotel service to come and make your bed daily and bring clean towels, they do not do that there. We didn’t care about that. They have afull size washer and dryer at the condo and that was even better in my opinion as we were able to come home with no dirty clothes. Bring a couple beach towels.

Thirsty Turtle- a karoake bar 6 nights a week. Very quiet and full of local residents. We had an awesome time there and would go back next time.

Self-catering but excellent value for money

There is no "service" here you are on your own. But the rooms are huge, the view very relaxing, and the buildings are newer, very well-maintained. We ate in 6 ff 7 days/nights, kitchen well-equipped. 5 minute drive from many nice beaches were public parking not a problem. Convenient to major attractions. Great value for the price...we had a 3 BR intercoastal view, up on the 6th floor.

Room for your son/daughter to take a friend with them, if you want to commit to that. Plenty of space for people to stretch out. Not beachside, however...plan accordingly if you are the chauffeur.

I got up every morning with back hurting cause beds have no comfort in the mattress could have been sleeping on a board. Free internet was advertised but there was none in my condo. I will never stay there again

Barefoot Yacht Club & Resort Villas were quite beautiful and relaxing - I would return in a minute! However, the beds could have been more comfortable!

Truely Dissappointed

I was very dissappointed with the accommodations, what was billed as a full or double bed was actually two twin beds pushed together. The actual villa was nothing like what was advertised. The kitchen was not well equipted, no lids for pots and pans, no spatulas, one knife that was dull. and most of all one roll of TP for two bathrooms, 6 remotes, but only 1 worked for one of the 3 tvs. I would never recommend this to anyone nor will i ever stay there again. The people of Myrtle Beach were great.

Barefoot resorts has several rental offices that apparently do not communicate well with each other. When making your reservations, make sure you find out which office you will need to deal with and get very specific directions. Also for older guest, find out which floor you will be on, no elevators.

The place was huge!! Wasn’t expecting what we got. Kitchen was the highlight of the weekend.

Would Recommend Barefoot Condominium

The condominium furnishings and the layout was perfect for our family of five. Every aspect of the unit allowed for relaxation. The very modern, full-size kitchen was a welcome site. Plenty of space for dining, indoor or outdoor. The decor throughout the unit was eloquent and very tasteful. Several TV(s)/ electronics throughout. There was much appreciation for the full size laundry room. The location of the unit was close to area attractions (some within walking distance), yet very private from the mass traffic.

I would recommend these condiminiums for those that want privacy and relaxation, yet can be in the hot spots in just minutes. Very modern unit, decorated and designed for comfort.

The only gripe that I have is that the king size bed was actually two beds pushed together and the beds were very hard, and it was advertised on the website that there was fishing onsite but there’s nowhere to fish. Other than that it was a great place to stay.

Awesome Place To Stay

My family had a wonderful time at this resort. We wanted to move in and stay there, it was just like a home with a full kitchen with all the kitchen ware you need. The pool was very nice and the screened in porch made it nice to hang out on the deck every evening.
