EXCELLENT PLACE TO STAY!

Excellent acccommodations - friendly staff - close to airport - nice breakfast buffet - clean rooms - nice pool...would stay there agin - would highly recommed....;

will probably be back next year

Nice place for an overnight

Hotel tucked in a cul-de-sac near the Hilton (which has a full bar and Restaurant ’cause Sleep Inn doesn’t) that is tired but clean with friendly staff and a so-so breakfast bar. Small but adequate and clean rooms. Relatively quiet, many international travelers. Didn’t expect too much more than a bed for the price, and it was a fair trade. I would recommend it for a quick moving traveler with the expectation of a place to sleep and go.

not impressed

We were terribly dissatisfied with this hotel. They could not give additional blankets or towels. There were dead bugs in the pool and hot tub.

economy friendly

I have stayed at this hotel twice now and it is consistantly clean, breakfast is good and the staff are friendly. Both times I have traveled alone but would bring my family to this hotel. Good central location to the phoenix/mesa area and close enough to airport. I slept very well every nite. Enjoy! : )

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

I traveled daily to phoenix/glendale and back to Mesa/Apache junction. It was a great middle marker for dropping off or picking up. Easy access to interstate. Plan to stay next year too.

Great Renovated Room - Sleep Inn Phoenix Airport

Renovated Room was excellent, clean, spacious. Rate it 3 Star. Continental Breakfast was elaborate by Continental standards!

It was a nice place to stay

The motel - Sleep was fine - nothing special but fine. I suspect the motel will need some restoration in a few years but all in all, it was just fine.

Very Convenient to Airport and Good Value

This hotel is quite convenient to the airport, offering free shuttle service between itself and the airport. It represented a a good value for the rate, a clean property and fairly well-maintained and complimentary breakfast included. The hotel’s desk help was, unfortunately, the single negative I would mention. They weren’t the friendliest upon check-in, nor were they thankful upon check-out. I guess that’s what you pay for (or not).

Clerk recommended Mill Street as a good place to eat which was close and worked out well.

It was close to the airport and Tempe which was a good place to eat & have acouple of beers.

Close to Airport, Modern, Clean, Safe, Inexpensive.

It’s in a decent neighborhood just east of the airport. A typical Sleep Inn, they are all the same, and predictable consistency is good when you’re looking for a hotel in an unfamiliar city and don’t want to spend a fortune on a room. The air conditioning worked great, and in Phoenix in July, that’s important. The room was small, but all I was doing was sleeping there, so it didn’t matter. If you’re some sort of traveling executive that needs a concierge, room service, and conference facilities, you may want to spend more and go up-market. But I’m not, so I didn’t.

Nice for the price

For the price and what we desired (overnight stay with free breakfast, shuttle, and parking) we were satiesfied. We plan on staying again.

OK for 1 night

The hotel was too near the airport but so were a lot of other hotels. Only one person on reception and we waited 15 minutes for them to appear. The air conditioning unit in the room was so noisy we could not leave it on all night so room got very hot. Very basic hotel but overall for price and one night only it was OK!

Good place to stay

Friendy staff. Free apples all day long. No in-house restaraunt or decent, healthy nearby restaraunts but surprisingly good vending machines at the hotel containing a vast array of hot and conversely frozen meal selections, as well as snacks. A bit overpriced overall, but quality of room was good.

Good transportation to airport and good parking. Slow check in process; adequate breakfast. I stay there often.

Outstanding economy hotel by airiport

The Sleep Inn is an excellent economy hotel -- clean, quiet, comfortable and close the the Phoenix airport (3m). A pleasant surprise: The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast beginning at 5 a.m. I expected the typical continental breakfast of doughnuts, muffins, etc. but was pleasantly surprised to find hot cereal, a wafflemaker, and hard-boiled eggs as well.

Good for an overnight

Free Shuttle was great - on time and service oriented. Room was OK, nothing great - good place for an overnight stay or 2. If staying longer I would recommend something else as the price is high for the type of hotel (Motel). Room was small. Continental Breakfast a bonus. Free Internet Access in Business Center a bonus. Again good for an overnight or 2 day stay.

Not a problem

great service, fast check in with the internet reservation, room is a standard good confort. Very close to the airport, great and fast shuttle service.

Nice and convenient!

This hotel worked very well for us. The room was a little small but was clean and well maintained. The location was very good for us to the airport and the Tempe Diablo Stadium for baseball spring training.

Ok Place to rest your head.

Room was small - and had a musty smell. Couldn’t control tempeture of the room - either it was very cold or humid. Staff was very pleasant. Shower broke and staff immediately came to fix it. Great that the shuttle ran 24 hours to the airport as we had an early a.m. flight. Very convenient to the airport.

Loved the shower!!

It was a very nice hotel. The elevator was out of order for a little while and I had to take the stairs from my 2nd floor room. Otherwise, everything was great. The shower was the best. It was big enough to turn around. There was a place to put your shampoo and it was easy to turn on and adjust the temperature of the water. Most hotel showers aren’t like that!!
