Cant wait to go back

I would definately go back and stay again loved the rooms the casino the service overall loved everything they had to offer.

Harrah’s was always the most expensive hotel in Reno. Recently, they becamd very competative. The hotel is clean, well kept and comfortable. It is on par with the Silver Legacy and the El Dorado. Would stay here anytime I am in town.

Visited Reno for the first time in 6 years, was pleased to have a great location and good food @ hotel restaurants

try Harrah’s Steak House. We were Pleasantly SURPRISED @ quality of food and excelelant service there.

Will not be going back

We’ve visited this hotel in the past so we decided it would be a great choice for a mini vacation. Well this time it didn’t go so great, and it was mostly because of our sleeping arangements and a rude employee. We booked a king bed, when we arrived they told us they’re kings were all booked up, so they put us in a room with 2 full size beds, it wouldn’t of been soo bad but my fiance is 6’5 285, and when we called down to the desk to explain, they said that we would just have to "deal with it". It was very uncomfortable, and I have to say I will not be returning to this hotel.

My room was clean and in very good condition. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The comon areas need to be updated though.

cheap place

It was the cheapest renovated room I found and we liked it. The only thing that they needed in that room was a flat panel TV. They still had the 32 inch tube tv. Room service was super fast, but pricey for so and so food. Its waayyyy better to pay 10 bucks for the buffet downstairs the next morning than 10 bucks for 3 eggrolls.

There were two things I didn’t like about this hotel. One being is the cigar & cigarette smoke. the smell is over powering & hard on a person with lung disorders. we have casinos in my home town & the gambling is no where near the check in. you still have to walk past the machines to get to the elevators but they are like in another room. no smell of smoke until you enter into the gaming area. The 2nd one is one of the entrances or exits where you have automobile drop off or pick up smells like raw sewage.

Pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room and the stay. They moved us up to the 24th floor at our request, view of the Sierras were terrific. No regrets.

Appreciated pet facilities

Perfect for us as we were traveling with our dogs. Good facility and close to parks for daily walk. Staff was very helpful.

Well located and good food. There were several unique activities on the gambling floor. Fun.

The Iconman Act was enjoyable. All employees in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Gift shop was somewhat sparse.

The day trip to Lake Tahoe was great. A long trip for small children, although they would love Virginia City. A good trip for a change of pace.

Not Impressed

The room smell of cigarette smoke, and the bathroom tub was old. Their was no cocktail service at the pool, so we would have to go into the casino and buy our drinks. The pool area itself was not appealing

Great room and service

Service for check-in/out was quick and the staff was very courteous and professional. I love the art-deco decor of the room and the bed was comfortable with plenty of down pillows and down comforter. For a casino, it was good to have a non-smoking room smell clean. The shower head was good for me but I think an avg. height person would not be satisfied with it. The electronic check-out from the TV didn’t work but luckily the staff was quick in the lobby.

Will stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay and it was in walking distance with everywhere we wanted to go. Even the bus stop.

Very nice hotel room in downtown Reno

This was a very comfortable, clean and cozy hotel room.

Very impressed

My husband and I were very pleased with our room. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was large and clean, and the room was quiet. Our only complaint was the TV didn’t have any channels that weren’t pay per view. The hotel pool while small was clean and not crowded. Overall it was a good experience and we would go back.

This is right in the heart of the major casino area and the food prices in all the surrounding restaurants are really good. You can get to all these places by walking a block here and a block there.

Will be back next year.

Harrah’s was wonderful

We were very pleased with the room and the hotel staff. Everyone was very friendly and made us feel welcome. They went out of their way to help us when we had a request or question. Customer Service was obviously important.

sleazy attitude/no room amenities

Rudeness abounds. The bellman went out of his way to make us think that if we didn’t use valet parking our car might be vandalized. In the room: no coffee maker, no refrigerator, no microwave. Holiday Inn Express has better rooms.

Nothing special

We’ve stayed at other large hotel/casinos in the area and were disappointed in this one. They were unable to fulfill our request for one bed. Room was crowded with two doubles. We were there on a really hot weekend and our room never really cooled down even with the air conditioner on high all day/night. Not a horrible place to stay, just too pricey for a nothing special stay.

Won’t stay in East Tower ever again !!

Don’t stay in the east tower unless you Really like to walk. and if you don’t want to use the pool. and if you ever want to go to the parking garage. and if you want coffee in your room...but I must say the room was nice and very quiet !!!!

Find something to do in Reno BESIDES gambling, the slot machines were so tight, I was there for 4 days and only seen 1 person win anything decent... they very seldom pay out...not like it use to be !!!
