“Worth it! Brilliant location. Feels like being directly out in nature, but all the amenities of home. Timeless memories of sitting on the front deck of our own log cabin in the woods taking in the sights, sounds and scents of the kenai bush. “Quiet and relaxing. Great if traveling without a car as is 1/2 way between train station and the downtown area. It is also right on the free shuttle route with a convenient stop, so is easy to get to Safeway grocery store at far end of town There is a fridge and microwave in the room! The front desk staff is delightful and offer free bear spray. Mount Marathon and Twin Lakes trails as well as paved trail all along Resurection Bay are all 1-2 blocks away. There is a laundrymat nearby and many……

“an interesting stay, a very fancy house turned into an airbnb. we arrived late at night so we quietly slipped off our shoes in the foyer(as requested) and went to our v large rooms. used the lovely huge kitchen in the morning to cook n take our meals n left. saw not a single other soul though we knew other ppl were there. It was competitive priced and well appointed. good one plus that wonderful wooden bench at the entrance and the gleaming stone of the kitchen countertop. there is old money……

“The ocean view was spectacular with teal waters and islands and mountains all around. The cabins are located in a cove, so it is safe for kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards, all available for use. They even provided dry suits for us. The cabin was very comfortable and clean. At night, it was very quiet. The staff were very friendly, going beyond to be helpful. One person even helped my son fish and clean the fish for us. He was so nice. ”
