“The staff were all very nice and welcoming and helpful. As for the room it looked like it had seen better days. The bathroom had cracked tiles and there was zero water pressure in the shower and at one point the water turned off all together. There was one single desk chair in the room and we had to bring in the balcony chairs inside just to have somewhere to sit down. I’m sure this room used to be nice when the hotel was first build but it looks like they haven’t done any refreshing or updating……

“Absolutely loved this place. The cottage was adorable. A bit dated but all added to the charm. The ladies and gents looking after us were lovely. So friendly and nothing was too much trouble. When we explained we hadn't heard from neither them or expedia and in fact had a check in reminder they offered nothing advising we had to find alternate accommodation. We spent over 5+ hours going between the hotel and expedia as neither party wanted to take ownership/payment of any new accomodation options for us even though they had the $2500 from my existing reservation. “Good location. A short walk (500 yards) up a steep hill from the main strip in English Harbour provides amazing views of Nelson’s dockyard near enough to walk to all the restaurants and far enough away from the noise of the nightclubs so the only sound at night are the tree frogs chirping. Annie and Roger are super friendly, helpful and welcoming. 10/10 for staff. Simple but delicious breakfast served on the large terrace overlooking the sea completes the peaceful charm of this colonial style……
