"This hotel is located in a great location and is super cute! The rooftop bar/pool/restaurant is really nice and the breakfast is fabulous!! We loved everything we had. The view from the pool is very nice and hip! The boutique in the hotel had very nice high end clothing and other neat stuff. The rooms are small but very nicely done and great bathroom amenities. I would stay here again for sure and I’m kind of a hotel snob but Upendo is super cute and decorated nicely "

"A very relaxing place to stay and recuperate. We had a fantastic sea view to the front and side of the room. That did mean that when the storms came we also had a very wet floor as the front just has mesh panels and no windows (but we were very grateful for the refreshing breeze!) but this was quickly dried up with some towels. "Firstly, the employees are great and very helpful! The hotel is right on the beach, and close to other beach hotels, and restaurants. Easy access to kite surfing, scuba, and jet skis. You can also walk out what seems to be a mile into the ocean without having to swim. Beautiful beach! Having got the larger suite, bedroom, bathroom, and balcony were 10/10. The entrance room however was a little dirty, and the amenities, were a little dated. The couch is definitely not to be slept on either....

"The location was perfect! I really wanted ground floor but was put on 3rd floor with no elevator. To change rooms I was told I’d have to stay extra nights. I had just climbed mt Kili and my legs were a little unstable. However they did help with my bags. The bed was extremely hard. All in all I’d stay again at that hotel "

"We had a lovely family bungalow for our 3 night stay and this hotel is in a good location. Donna the masseuse was excellent, and the staff were all very welcoming. The only downside was the restaurant had limited vegetarian options for our daughter and the lighting in the evening didn't make it feel cosy so we ate elsewhere. The Kuza cave is only around 20 minutes walk away and well worth a visit."
