“My family has been staying at this hotel for decades, formerly known as The Crest. We stayed because it was a little hidden gem outside of town and it was cheap. After having been letdown by The Crest, twice within the last year and a half, we were a little leery of staying here again. We are so glad we gave it a shot. Now known as The Herondale. The whole place has undergone an incredible facelift. It was so clean and refreshing. The front desk staff was so welcoming and attentive. The beds,……

“Great property, amenities and location! Check-in was very easy. We were happy with the close proximity to the beach 😊 and the unit was a good distance from the family units. It helped our romantic getaway be more enjoyable. The bathroom is small so pack accordingly but overall, stay was excellent. We even had a few visits from the local wildlife!”

“I loved how close we were to the beach and they are a family friendly hotel! Wonderful staff! My only complaint is that our suite was very wn warm and hard to cook down as there is no ac or central air. But overall a lovely place and they are currently doing some remodeling. Would be interested in staying there again for future trips”

“Great place to stay. It was a pleasant surprise. Very quiet, and comfortable. It has a very nice kitchen although we didn't use it, but their are very good restaurants close by. The bathroom could use a larger vanity. The TV had closed caption displayed all the time. Couldn't get rid of it. Brandy couldn't figure it out either. Otherwise she was excellent.”

“Cute little cottage! My daughter and I loved it. The coffee was excellent ( I am a serious coffee drinker). The host checked with us to see if we needed anything, much appreciated! We were fine, but we forgot to eat the salt water taffy. LOL the room was great, we liked that there were coffee and tea options, with a separate kettle for hot water. We look forward to staying there again.”

“We liked the firepit and the pond. The cottage is cute and well- stocked. It was not cleaned well after the last guest. We found food in two different areas. The carpets had not been vacuumed. We couldn't find kitchen towels and the tvs were difficult to use.”
