“Friendly reception and service. Room was non-smoking but one could notice it had been smoking before, every time at entering the room. Comfortable bed. It's clear the bathroom had been renovated, but why wasn't at least one hook installed to hang towel and/or clothes? Very frustrating, moreover as the (gliding) door wasn't of any help here either.”

“Great place - rooms are great, comfy bed, welcome green and blacks chocolate. Staff are lovely at check in and the breakfast staff are fantastic, work hard and fast - really impressed. “Visiting family in Reading so location was perfect. Plenty of parking and free of charge. Room was basic, clean apart from dust on bed frame and dressing table. Lovely clean white bed sheets and big white fluffy bath towels. Plug hole on sink and bath needed a good scrub. Reported to reception that the shower water was not flowing away very well and also when boiling the kettle steam was escaping onto the handle. Husband had breakfast, plenty of choice and good quality. We paid £55 in total...

“Was good for 1 night stay. Breakfast was nice. Staff super helpful and friendly. Only negative was the slamming doors at night. The bedroom doors require a good slam to shut them so this made it a little disruptive at night. Other than that it was a great little place to stay.”
