"This hotel was perfect and reasonable in cost for our arrival a day before our cruise. We arrived very early and paid a bit extra to be able to get into our room right away. The breakfast was a buffet and excellent. The desk clerk said it would be a 10 - 15 min walk to the famous church but it was further than that. There is an excellent restaurant a block from the hotel called the Reykjavik Kitchen."

There's an absolutely delicious restaurant on-site, which we still talk about, and breakfast had waffles (also important for my husband). The staff was really friendly, too.
