“This is a small, new hotel, nestled along the railtrain in New Paltz. It's "along" in the sense that the rooms are lined up, balconies facing the railtrail, and immediately beyond (through a treeline) the Wallkill. It's well sited on a beautiful site. Of course the railtrail is convenient, as is Water Street Market, which also follows the rail trail. It's also just a short walk into town, to the bridge across the Wallkill and a trial that leads to the ridge, and up the railtrail and to the left,……
“We tried to drop off our luggage (not check in) before going out to play golf, but they wanted to charge us $75 to leave our bags. Also, the outdoor spaces were okay, but there were massive amounts of bird droppings in some outdoor areas. Other than those complaints, we had a great time.”
