“My husband and I stayed at The Chatwal Lodge (about two hours from NYC) and it’s easily one of the best resorts we’ve been to. It feels incredibly private and secluded—it seemed like there were only ~20 guests on property—so the whole experience was calm and special. “At night there is a terrible noise coming from the fake fire place that only turns on for 30 seconds. The restaurant is an over glorified dump can't make a mojito and over priced. Staff act like they straight out of cliche caricature of Williamsburg Brooklyn. Parking lot is kind of a travesty. Def not worth the trip or what I paid for”
