“This is a run down, filthy hotel not fit for a stay at any level. It was likely not updated in the last 20 years.
The hotel really should be demolished. I left a day early and went to another hotel. This hotel was over 70 dollars per night, more expensive than most hotels.
Any positive reviews out there must be from many years ago or they're not authentic. I would advise everyone to avoid this place.”

“We were sight seeing most of the day. Room service meals were tasty. Breakfast on the last day was finally buffet style as in the pictures. No TV for two days. Bathroom was leaking. Airport shuttle driver was not helpful with our luggage out of the van. Overall customer service needs improvement as well as housekeeping and maintenance. The kitchen staff was wonderful.”

“The hotel told me they could not honor the payment I made through hotels.com and they asked me to pay them directly. In the end I was double billed for the same stay. I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel if you go to Addis Ababa. I am a platinum member and long time customer of hotels.com but I am no longer going to use them after this trip. They should not be advertising such shady hotels on their site. ”

“That place has never seen renovation since it was built decades ago. Guest rooms are dilapidated. It is a shame that once iconic establishment is now in ruins. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. I will never stay there again, but I would eat at the traditional restaurant but I won’t set foot in their guest rooms.
