“My wife and I (and our black lab, Miles) had an adventurous and peaceful time at the Black Pine Cabin. Aside being a little hampered from rain a couple of days, we were able to squeeze in some hiking and took my Jeep down Crane Pond Rd. to visit my childhood campsite. Jesse was a great host. We’ll be back!”

“The cabin itself is absolutely amazing. The layout is perfect for a family with kids. The bunkbed in the same room as a king bed is genius. The living area was cozy with a great view. The fireplace is inviting and the copious throw pillows and blankets such a nice detail. Parking was easy and the neighborhood mountain roads were well maintained even during an ice storm. “We had a short, but lovely stay at the Green Door cabin. The cabin is simple but cozy and was clean when we came. The location is lovely, with a pond view and paths around the pond and lake that you can walk. Would love to come back in summer or autumn sometime!”

“The keys were not where owner said they would be; owner did not respond to email and phone messages about keys. We said we would be late, and it was stressful being left out in the dark waiting for an answer that didn't come. eThe bathroom was not very clean - dropped an earring by toilet base and it was disgusting. The fridge was also not clean. Says it's on 2.5 acres and sounds private, but there's less than an acre in the yard and two houses right behind you where you are fenced off from most……

Everything was exceptionally clean and welcoming when we arrived. The hot tub was a nice bonus! Matt was an exceptional host and was in contact with me a few days prior to check in. He was readily available throughout our stay to answer any questions. The cabin is perfectly located near one of the best general stores and 15 min from Pico. If……
