"Decent hotel. Staff was very nice and helpful, especially when we couldn’t get our hot water to work. They promptly came in and helped. Room had a bit of a sour smell. Carpeted floors had a sticky film (I don’t know why but this seems to be a common issue in hotel/motel rooms at this price point.) Room was spacious, neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. Outdoor security lights were flickering on and off during our stay like they needed to be changed. Overall decent budget option."

"It is not in the best neighborhood, but the hotel is well maintained and is two blocks from the river front train. Staff were friendly and helpful. We usually stay at the Hampton on Canal St. but this was a happy mistake."

"The staff was really helpful and kind. The pool was a bit dirty, but the rest of the place was really clean despite what the other travelers were doing each night. The staff was able to maintain and claim all of the gross from the other travelers."
