“Very nice views, owner very responsive, well stocked. Bring walking beach shoes for rocks.One item that the owner can't do anything about..The one item, that is a big one, is that the only way to get to the house on North point shores is by using Misery Bay road past the Alpena cement factory and quarry. The lime and cement dust is incredible that gets on your car. Took most of a morning to get the lime off my truck , engine. wheel walls and then my driveway from all the lime coming off my……

“Super clean. Short walk to the water. Had coffee! Super important for us. Hosts were very quick to answer any questions. Overall made our visit very calm and inviting. Would definitely stay there again. ”

“The renovations done to this house have made it an absolutely wonderful getaway up north. The finishes and furnishings are perfect. We stayed for a long weekend with two families very comfortably. Kudos to the hosts, this was a wonderful place and we’d be happy to come back again!”

Walking out the back door onto the beach, feeling the breeze, and listening to the waves was beyond peaceful. The house was beautiful and had everything we were looking for. “Breakfast was just basics like cereal, bagels, & pastries. It was within walking distance from the lake and the views were just beautiful. There’s only one person working the desk for the entire property so she seemed a little overwhelmed but still friendly. The rooms were comfortable, but those walls are paper thin. Our neighbor’s tv was on all night long and you could hear every bit of it but somehow still managed to sleep through it. Overall it was a good last minute stay for us!”

“Futon room has been upgraded to a double or queen bed. Only stayed one night but the house seemed well equipped for a longer stay. One bathroom was, near all 3 bedrooms. The other was on the other side of the house, away from the bedrooms, but greatly appreciate having 2 full bathrooms available. Front door lock was a little finicky but worked well once we understood how it worked. All bedrooms had TVs. Large dining table. Comfy living room. Thank you”
