“Do not stay here! The manager/staff/owner of the franchise are terrible to their guests and also bigots who make assumptions about people based on race.
Within seconds of an interaction with my (black) husband, the manager threatened to call the police after sternly and aggressively asking “what’s your room #?” Instead of a “good morning, how are you” or “how did you sleep” as you’re getting coffee and wiping sleep out of your eyes, “WHATS YOUR ROOM #, I’m calling the police”… like……
