1. Campau Lake Sunrise Retreat | Peaceful Lakefront

Grand Rapids

“The condition of the property upon our arrival was unacceptable, unsanitary, and did not match the expectations set by the listing. Our group of six arrived at the property, unloaded our belongings, and began walking through the home. We understood from the host that any concerns needed to be reported within the first hour of arrival, so we immediately inspected the property.Within minutes, we discovered numerous serious issues, including:* One of the advertised beds was not a mattress at all,……

“The staff were great very helpful my room key stopped working and they were very quick to fix it. I also called the front desk a couple times with some questions and they always helped me. The breakfast was always great and i could control the rooms temperature with ease. My only complaint was that my bathroom ceiling had mold on it in hindsight I probably should've asked them to move me but since I was rarely in the room( I was just using it to sleep) and I had already unpacked and put……

“We had a wonderful stay at the Main Street Inn in Lowell, Michigan. Our room was comfortable, cozy, and a great place to relax. One of our favorite features was the deck right outside the room, overlooking the Flat River—it was such a peaceful and beautiful spot to sit and enjoy the view. The location is also fantastic, with downtown Lowell and its restaurants and dining options just a short walk away. It was so convenient to be able to explore the area without needing to drive. Overall, the……

“Filthy, disgusting, poorly maintained dump of a hotel. Stay FAR FAR away from this hovel. The rating on Expedia is waaaay out of date. Search “most recent” reviews for the truth. Absolutely filthy bathrooms, beige grout is black with dirt. Base boards also disgusting. The desk chair is black cloth, looks like men have been pleasuring themselves watching their computers and leaving their love stains behind — truly vile. The worst dump we’ve ever stayed in. GR was very sold out the weekend we……
