"Hotel is awesome, it’s definitely a dated property and you can tell for sure. Staff seemed very dismissive ( front desk at least ) but housekeeping and maintenance were SUPER helpful and friendly. I got a free breakfast included with my stay and was told becuase I went through Expedia… and it was very tasty. Although if you pay for the breakfast it was a lot more disappointing than what’s advertised. There is a small selection and food is average! Overall this hotel property was very pleasant and I and more than willing to return. It also sits SUPER close to the Disneyland resort ( 20 min walk ) and just across from the Toy Story parking lot ( which offers free shuttles to the Disneyland resort ) which is super convenient. "The staff were friendly and nice, it’s not far from Disney and the area was clean and felt safe. Large parking lot. The only issue I had was the walls are thin. You can hear your neighbors next to you and the people above you walking around."

"Overall the stay was great, friendly staff and good location. My only nitpick is that the outlet between the beds was busted so I had to charge everything in the bathroom. "

"Great for the price. The hotel is in desperate need of a face lift, but the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. If you’re staying here for Disney, you can’t do much better for the price. Also, some rooms have a killer view of Disney for the weekend fireworks (Friday, Sat and sometimes sunday) so if you hear them popping don’t forget to look outside. Parking is $25 a night, not bad. And being walking distance to Disney (while saving hundreds per night compared to Disney hotels) is really the sell here. "

"This was our first trip to Disneyland. After doing my research I settled on the Tropicana Inn and Suites due to its location and price. Being able to walk to the parks in such a short amount of time--from the middle of Main Street to our room took about 13 minutes--made the trip so much nicer, especially after a full day in the parks. Also, The Cove convenience store being on-site was great and allowed us to purchase breakfast items to put in our in room fridge. There is also a microwave but we didn't end up using that. If you're looking for more hotel amenities, this isn't the property you are looking for--but, if you're looking to make a vacation to Disneyland better by being able to easily walk and not have to rent a car and truly get a good value, I'm not sure why you'd stay anywhere else"

"Nothing can beat the location and convenience of this hotel. We've stayed here a few times and we have consistently enjoyed the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms as well as the friendly and accommodating staff members. The breakfast options are great, they are always well stocked and do well in managing large crowds."
