"The staff were very nice and accommodating. The shuttle drivers were great. The hotel was clean and the room was sufficient, a tad outdated. It appeared they were doing some upgrades. My room had new carpeting and updated furniture, but the walls were bare. It appeared they were working on it one thing at a time. The breakfast was very basic; decent eggs and sausages, plenty of seating. It’s right next to the Alaska Railroad station. Some restaurants are close; ask the shuttle to take you up the hill, easier walk back is downhill."

"Older hotel. Coating in bathtub was coming up. The floor was starting to lift up could be a trip hazard. They said they had shuttle to and from the train station. They took us there. When we got back to the train station we called them and they said they didn’t have a driver for the shuttle. Very disappointed. It looked like they were helping the homeless. But maybe do a food drop off or something. Not very impressed with the whole place.😟"

"Great location in relation to the airport. But, we walked into the first room and there was water dripping onto the floor from ceiling vent. Went and advised the desk and they changed the room. The next room had a beautiful view of the cinderblock wall of an adjacent building. Opened the window and it would not close again."
