He also let me stay in the room later than usual since my car took so long on the day of checkout. They really went above and beyond to take care of me, which is unlike most hotel experiences. ""Peace & Quiet" is everything it's described to be! My pup and I spent a full work week in the cabin for some respite before heading into the new year; and it was just perfect!!! My 4-legged companion really struggles with firework holidays, and this was the perfect spot for her to be able to get a restful NYE without the typical stress. Our favorite part was having a trailhead just steps out the front door. We had snow the entire first day of our stay and afterwards were able to identify bobcat, bunny, and wild turkey tracks along the trail in the snow drifts!!!!"
