“The staff made this place extra nice. I asked to borrow their microwave on some leftovers and she even plated it nicely and gave us silverware to use. Breakfast is pretty good. I wished there was a screen on the patio door or window so I can leave it open for extra ventilation without letting bugs in. The room can get humid too. The bathroom is a nice size, but for some reason water easily splashes out of the shower and gets the floor outside of it wet.”

“Honestly an amazing little spot near the city center. Quiet comfortable and everything you need. One of the light bulbs burnt out and they were there within minutes to replace it. Helpful with things to do around as well”

“The staff at Hotel Colores were exceptional. This is a family owned operation and you can tell they care about the people staying there. From the check-in to the breakfast and even helping us find the sloth family that were visiting the property during our stay. I have to say this place is a hidden gem. Our room was on the smaller side. The beds were not like the ones at home. But I would stay here again in a heartbeat because the owners and staff care about your stay. And that for me is……

“Very conveniently located - 3min walk to downtown; surrounded by very good restaurants. Hotel is overall very clean.. had clean bed, clean and comfy pillow. Got a room with balcony - room came with locker, tiny fridge, sink. Just felt like room could use little brighter lights. Bathrooms are clean with clean towels. You can get all the activity and attractions booked from the front desk and they have very good discount. Gigi at the front desk was so helpful! Has lots of patience and always with……

“The Arenal Country Inn was a wonderful place to stay! It is conveniently located to the town and the room was very comfortable! It could use a few more hooks to hang clothes and someplace to put suitcases instead of the floor. But overall the room did meet our needs and held our family of four nicely. I would request to have the bottles for body wash and hand wash filled up since we ran out of body wash and it was never filled. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed it daily……

“Very clean room. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Restaurant had a nice selection and everything was delicious. Complementary one free drink. Free breakfast was very traditional andnice . Short drive to many beaches. ”

“Clean room, great location, friendly staff. It is close to rope swing where our son had a blast. They offer breakfast in house or provide vouchers. You also get access to hot springs. We tried two of the hot springs and enjoyed both of them. If you can, take the guided tours they offer. We saw so many animals and learned a lot about the region. This place is a gem and hope that we will be back one day”
