“The property gave us a view of the volcano, had comfortable beds for the 3 of us, a kitchen, dining area and a clean bathroom. The host, Reyna, was very kind! She arranged travel and an activity for us, and was extremely flexible with our check out time. She also did our laundry for us ($4/kg) and it was cleanly folded when returned. We had a lot of fun and felt very comfortable staying here, highly recommend this to everyone! Pura Vida:)”

“The property is beautifully landscaped with lush tropical faunas. Each room is an individual separate unit. Ours had river view and you can hear the river sound. Beddings were fantastic and we had the best sleep ever. The staff was helpful and efficient. Breakfast was good. I like that you can order from the menu instead a standard buffet. “Die Lage ist hervorragend, schön ruhig gelegen und das Personal ist unglaublich hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war zwar klein mit einer funktionierenden, aber sehr lauten Klimaanlage, dafür hatten hatten wir eine große Küche mit Esstisch. Im Schlafzimmer gab es leider keine Nachttischlampen und die Bettwäsche war löchrig, aber sauber. Es wäre schön wenn es auch im Schlafzimmer ein paar Kleiderhaken gäbe. Das Türschloss ist allerdings nur eine sehr simple Zahlenreihenfolge und erschien uns nicht……

“This home was exactly what we needed, close to downtown La Fortuna yet away from the noise. The house has 2 bedrooms with doble beds and TV’s and one loft with 2 twin beds. The bathroom has hot/cold water and the host provides shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, a cooktop as well as the basics you need to make meals if you choose to cook. The washer and dryer were very convenient. “We loved our private room at this hostel and the pool was nice and it had a great area to hangout around and the place to do yoga was pretty as it overlooked a small flowing creek however it did need to be better maintained as there was lots of bat guano on the ground and some of the yoga mats and blocks, the food at the kitchen/bar there was good as well but they also had a nice kitchen you could cook your own meals in. Staff was mostly friendly aside from one of the ladies however it was not……
