“I've stayed here many times while traveling through Mobile. First, to give credit where it's due, I still consider this the best hotel in Mobile. That said, each stay seems to come with a different room quality and a different staff experience. “I just want to start by saying that I'm extremely grateful that we had a place to lay our head for the night after traveling for hours. So initially, upon checking in, you see a nice clean lobby. Smells clean and everything. But it's very deceiving. The rooms we're moderately cleaned, and I say, moderately, because you can tell they tried. “The hot tub was green and the pool was in such disrepair it felt unsafe to even get in with chlorine tablets sitting right at the return and the light hanging out by the wire and sitting on the pool edge. With this being the only 2 search criteria I chose it was very disappointing to say the least. Also the room we were giving had a missing smoke alarm the wire was there hanging from the ceiling however. The couch had big holes in the fabric the bedroom TV didn't work and the shower paneling was……

“Pretty disappointing. I usually don’t care much about the room, as long as there’s a shower and a bed for cheap. This place is disgusting. The room I got, 111, is infested with mold. The dehumidifier included in the room is obviously never cleaned or emptied by housekeeping, as it was coated in mold when I opened the tank to drain it. Every day it filled up while I was out, leaving the room at 75% humidity. The shower curtain has mold. 3 of the 4 corners of the room are moldy. There is mold……
