"Motel wasnt the most beautiful. The tiles in the bathroom needed replaceing - the thermostat had a note on it to use the mini split instead, it smelled of smoke and years gone by , but you cant beat the "mind your own business" vibe, the location, and the overall odd charm. "

"Our stay was excellent, we received the text for the entry code into this smart hotel, it is unmanned, but we found the room clean, warm modern, it was excellent, no complaints . The heat is baseboard and silent, the air conditioner, which appears to be brand new, is multifunction, and is wall mounted, all amenities in this hotel room were top-of-the-line. We really liked it. We watched the World Series on a super big TV in a super big king bed. There was springwater, coffee, tea, granola bars, and even the soaps were high-end. Our entry TEXT also included the code for the great room which had plenty to offer, and a peek into the backyard showed the gazebo with what appeared to be a gas fireplace , a fire pit, horseshoes, dog, run area, real nice."

"This was a great property. Everything was as described and Laney made sure we had all the info we needed! I especially appreciated that the kitchen had plenty of dishes, tools, etc. for anything we needed, which made a celebratory weekend more fun. It’s just as beautiful and secluded as advertised while still being close to anything we needed. There was so much to do between the bar, fire pit, creek, and more that we felt like we barely scratched the surface. We will definitely be back! "

"We've stayed here 3x now. (1) stay in each of the room options available. You can't beat the lake front rooms. But the 3rd room in the back is nice and cozy. Will absolutely be back next summer and fall. Our only wish is that the fireplace didn't have such a short timer on it. It only stays on for 15 minutes and then shuts off. Hard to get it on as well. It must have some type of thermostat sensor or something. But quite frustrating on a cool fall day when you just want the warm glow of a fire for extended stay. "
