"The only reasons I couldn’t give this property 5 stars is due to the spiders in the rooms, and the prices vs quality of the food served in the restaurant downstairs. It’s, by far, one of the most spectacular house hotels we’ve ever stayed at in terms of beauty, comfort, and location. "This hotel was so lovely. I absolutely loved my stay. The hotel has some historic charm, which I loved. Even though it doesn't have an elevator, I made it through and would love to stay here again. The check-in process was very simple. The view from my window was gorgeous and worth every cent. My room was small, but had everything I needed. I also loved the terrace restaurant they have. It had an amazing view and the waitstaff was very kind. Mallaig is so peaceful and the hotel just added to it....

"House of Juniper is a beautiful upscale property located on the Isle of Skye. The interior has been completely remodeled along a Scandinavian scheme. Nice touches include the rainfall shower, heated bathroom floors in the rooms as well as a sauna and steam room in the building. We stayed in one of the more expensive suites. It was on the 3rd floor (no elevator) so we left our larger suitcase in our car. As constructive criticism, I'd recommend hanging another mirror in the room, getting a...
