"This is an absolutely lovely place to stay. The views of the river are so soothing, and the neighborhood deliciously quiet. The owners were responsive & helpful when we ran into an internet problem. Kitchen is minimal but I didn't go there to cook ;-) We had fun exploring the nearby towns (Bath and Washington) and the wildlife reserves, but the best part was just sitting on the deck and breathing."

"Nicely maintained home with all you need for a perfect stay. Nestled on a quiet street just minutes walk from historic downtown and riverfront walk. Large covered porches with the back porch having a river view and we enjoyed an occasional slow moving train going past. Management is very accommodating and fast to respond. Highly recommend."

"This is the perfect cabin for a nature getaway! Spacious, comfortable, wonderful lake views, I was disappointed I had to leave. Jeff was quick to correspond and his home had everything needed to have a wonderful vacation. There are no big grocery stores nearby so Jeff let me know in advance so I could purchase foodstuffs on my way before I checked in. "Rented the property for my daughter’s graduation from ECU. So glad we picked this tranquil spot to stay rather than the city! The house has lots of space, the kitchen is well stocked with essentials, and the view from the living room is spectacular! Most of our time was spent sitting in the yard just talking!
