"Incredibly helpful staff from the moment I booked on-line to the check-out process! They really went out of their way to make sure that we enjoyed our stay and had no issues along the way. Shortly after I booked, I received a phone call from the hotel to ask if I had any questions and to clarify what type of room I needed (I was traveling with my family including two children). They proactively sent a map of the area and suggested making dinner reservations in advance due to the busy nature of the restaurants in the area. The hotel was nicely decorated and extremely clean. The rooms (we had adjoining rooms) were spacious enough for our family to not be crowded. The hotel is situated nicely in a quiet area that is still very walkable to the main part of town with all of the shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay in Alba and would highly recommend the hotel."

"A quaint family run hotel right next to the train station. The staff are friendly and helpful, and breakfast includes custom-made cappucino, coffee of choice by the host. Everything is clean and the beds are comfy, but pillows need an upgrade. The rooms are nice and traditionally furnished, comfortable. I wish they had better lighting; very dark at night, too dark even to read in bed. The only downside to this hotel is it's right across from the train station. Surprisingly, we heard no train noise in 2 days, but lots of noisy cars and various train station riff-raff milling around. Not unsafe, just a bit grungy. But it's a 5 minute walk to the town center, and worth the savings in cost."
