“Property was beautiful, and so was the surrounding area. Porta potty closest to our dome was not remotely clean at all, but the one 20 feet away from it was so it was no big deal. The first night was great, (other than getting bitten up) and then we woke up and made breakfast and left for our hike. When we got back to the dome, i attempted to make dinner and realized the area surrounding our food bags was being infested with ants that were getting through the cracks where the wall met the floor....

“Host was super helpful before we even arrived and answered my questions very quickly. The A-frame was gorgeous and clean. We stayed there with our kids and they slept well on the pull-out sofa. They had an absolute blast at the Arcade on site. The entire property had wonderful views and was nicely landscaped. Would definitely stay there again!”

“The view is spectacular. The salt basin dunes were just 4 miles away. Driving the desert road to the cabin i saw many birds i would not have in a city. The changes in weather allowed me to see mountains in many different ways. I enjoyed the view every morning before heading out to Guadeloupe Mountains and every night before bed. “Nice stay at the Freight Office! Enjoyed the views, breakfast, and proximity to Big Bend and Terlingua. Homey and comfortable space.”

“We had the greatest time! The place looks straight out of the western era and the views are incredible! It’s super close to Big Bend. If you want to go see stars is the perfect place, always double check the weather because we did get some clouds and rain on the second day. Overall, it was a great place! The only thing that I would recommend is that the porch light to be red light, when we were stargazing some people had their porch light on and it affected visibility.”
