“This was a very old historical building in as good of a shape as it could be. Some uneven floors and a lot of steps to get to your room. It was small and quiet charming. The staff was pleasant and helpful. A bus stop was right out the side. Very pleasant. The bed was nice, no air conditioning, but it was fairly cool when we went in August, 2026. They had a fan. We are from Florida so the low 70's was a joy for us for August.”
“I loved my stay here. Beautiful rural location. All staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Great service. The food was also great and freshly made. My room was modern, spacious and clean with a lovely view. Definitely intend to stay here again on my next visit.”

“The curtains within Room 222 were far too long and were a health and safety hazard especially for the elderly generation. Bathroom fan did not operate within said room. The Queen size bed mattress was very lumpy and needs to be replaced. On Sunday 30th August 2026 I organised Sunday lunch for five persons, 3 of my relatives and my wife and I. I felt embarassed with the overall meal which was totally overcooked especially the roast potatoes and the Yorkshire puddings. I paid the bill but the……
